  1. Hello there, I'm not sure right now though I guess a little bit more than 9. Maybe 9.5 I talked with him recently and he is very happy, trying new hairstyles. He also scheduled another HT to increase density with beard and chest. I'll keep this case updated and also check the distance you asked.

  3. You should see his temples before-after...even with curly hair looks really nice
  4. It seems that the incidence of adverse fx are similar. And topical finasteride must be made in gel, and not liquid or foam. The correct formulation is not easy to find.
  5. Oral minoxidil to all. I don't expect any regrowth. I just want to avoid the progression of the baldness to higher norwood classes. Oral minoxidil is the treatment closest to finasteride in terms of result we can get. Even so it is pretty inferior.
  6. That is correct. I do not prescribe 5-ARI (finasteride, dutasteride) to my patients. The reason for that is because those medications MAY cause (in a small percentage of patients) sexual dysfunctions, such as libido loss or decrease in ejaculatory volume. The patient needs to use baldness medication for the rest of their lives. And if at any moment he feels a decrease in libido, he will abandon all the treatment. I know this is a controversial conduct though this is my medical opinion. I understand that finasteride and dutasteride are excellent in hair growth, and as I do not prescribe them, I need to rely only on my surgery skills in order to achieve a good result. I cannot count on 5-ARI to reach any goal.

  10. Yes, single day. The purpose of the arrows is to guide me during the pre incisions so that I can get the correct angle and direction of the implanted hair (in this care, to the right side, 40 degrees from skin surface).
