  1. I understand that smoking will slow down the healing process of the "donor and recipient site". I'm assuming then that smoking will only prolong the redness in this area, as oppose to not smoking. But as to the actual graphs implanted and the growing stage - -it seem that it does not interfere with this. Is this fair to conclude?
  2. i've had one cigarette(which was on the 14th day after my surger) within the two and half weeks after my surgery.....at what point, is it almost not a worry to smoke after ht surgery? May i add that my scalp is pretty much 95 percent healed, with only the little shafts poking out of it...it doesn't even look like i've had any thing done.

  4. Thanks so much for everyones advice...another question i have is whether its okay for me to take herbal supplements like ginkgo and ginseng. Also if coffee and red bull are okay to drink again. Also, whats the general opinion on days after a ht to start drinking alcohol and smoking again?
  5. Could someone help confirm if it's okay for normal hair product(styling gel, moouse, etc) is okay to the touch the scalp(or area that received the implants) 14 days after? Also, is it okay for my brush to touch the same area? Please let me know
  6. Looking at my scalp, i hardly see any scabs, and theres some crust...overall, it doesn't even look like i've had a procedure done...so is it okay to finally use my brush and hair product without worry?
  7. what about hair products that have alchohol and no alcohol touching the part that has been implanted?
  8. I noticed that certain places like bosely recommend not going back to a normal shower habit(i.e letting the normal water pressure hit your head, and massaging implanted area) till after 14 days...compared to a lot of doctors here who say it's okay after 7-10 days...can someone clarify this for me?

  10. for the most part, i have a pretty good hairline, i just need to reinforce alittle with some graphs. Overall, whats the general consensus on dr. siporin? have there been any horror stories? I would really really love to know
  11. the only realistic option is a local one...and since dr siporin is the most local, he might be the best option....how much different could he be from the rest...if he's highly noted on this forum, i'm assuming he does great work...i really don't know how to gage these things...i usually go with confessional and recommendations.
  12. This sight seems to praise his work, and plus he is local....what do you guys think? any confessionals?

  17. Honestly, this isn't some non-sense promotion...he might be the one safe bet at bosely...yeah the place is kinda expensive, but luckily i've been able to come out of there with a great outcome...i was just wondering if anyone has heard otherwise, as i'm(as posted in a different thread) am thinking of going back to him for another procedure...would anyone reading this be so kind to let me know if they've heard anything negative? or was i just lucky?

  19. I'm aware that a lot of people here are not fans of bosely, and i respect your opinion. But i have to admit, I had dr. deutsch perform two procedures for me, and the results were, in my opinion, great. I'm thinking about going back to him for a 3rd procedure, but if i may ask, has anyone heard anything bad of dr. deutsch's work....But after reading everyones critisms regarding bosley, I begining to kinda second guess my own opinion. Could I be wrong?
