Nice to see Dr Mani on the recommendation list.
I think I was the first person on this forum to post my hair transplant review by Dr mani, he was very unknown at the time and i didn't include him in my topic title but fee free to take a look. @Melvin- Moderator do you remember commenting?
I posted on my own accord and he didn't ask me to post. I just wanted to share my transplant with other people in the UK who might have struggled to find a decent place to go!
I thought he was brilliant and defo recommend him, all the results i've seen afterwards look great too.
Im about 2y 6months since mine and it still looks great.
Excuse the rubbish photos but these were last week. Haircut due!!

This is probably around an 18 month update! Can't believe it's been that long.
Excuse the funny photos, they are just some from my camera roll trying on some clothes, however think it shows my hair pretty naturally.I've been on finasteride around 2 months now, so no idea if that's helped yet, these were taken a few weeks ago.
Nice to see more people post their results from Dr Mani.

@swats09can we get a final update? This Dr has a lot of recent reviews, interesting to see 12+
Hey mate - sure thing. Sorry for not posting much since my last one, once it starts looking the same you sort of forget! However looking back through this i definitely think its improved past 12 month mark. I'll post some now below this.

10 Month update
Steadily added some thickness although haven't noticed a huge difference over the last few months. I suppose I am need the end of my new hair transition!
I will say I am extremely happy with the results. If i was to be super critical i would have liked a bit more density and some more growth on the left side. No idea if this will still come?I am still not taking any fin or minox which i think i need to get onto.

6 month mark!
Slight improvement over 5 months i think. I had my shortest haircut yet with a 3 buzz on the sides and back, and a trim on the top.
I had a wedding at the weekend, with lots of compliments on my hair but no body assumed i've had a hair transplant. I did mention it to some people.
One side is definitely stronger than the other, you can see on the close up front photo that it still lacks a lot of density... I'm hoping this will fill in over the next 6 months.
The two suited photos are with fibres in and good distance, really showing how good it looks now though! I'm very happy
Cheers

Worth trying at least ! You have so much hair to help retain.
Yeah you’re right. I think I will do 0.5g three times a week and see how I get on. That’s a dose I’ve seen posted around that seems to work well, what do you think ?

I’m honestly so happy with how it looks now with fibres in, it’s going to be amazing in a year.

Yeah, donor looks a bit scarce in the middle, but the extraction pattern was even so you shouldn't worry about it so early.
Happy growing.
Thanks! Yep not too worried, my native hair is growing really fast

5 weeks on thursday just gone.
Pretty dull update but more for myself to log it. Lots of hairs have shed now although i cant say ive noticed them but they must be falling out in the shower or in my cap.
Rest of hair is growing well.
Donor looks good, maybe a slight patch in the middle growing back slower? It's nice for my hair to be growing a bit more now as it was so long before i kind of miss it!

its just swelling from water right?

I saw another post on here about headbands and it made me think of something i do when i sleep, which is wearing a earphone band to help me sleep.
Is this going to have an affect on the grafts? I've started wearing it around 3 weeks post hair transplant. And although I try to avoid it touching my grafts it does rest on the frontal ones throughout the night.
Am i being silly or is this going to be an issue at all? Image attached for reference.

Im glad its all healing over!
Can't say i wasn't worried it was looking like necrosis.
