Well if you are open to Fin then I would definitely try it. Minox/Rogaine Foam can possibly halt the situation as well but less of a chance. Be prepared however to see a shed regardless of which of the two you use, or both.
As far as a potential future HT in the event the meds do in fact stop the loss, based on your (not so HQ photos) I would say something as low as 1500 grafts at most in that area would do the trick as far as creating a nice illusion of no balding.

Any updated pics? Also, are you on Finasteride? Thanks.

a hair transplant????? Shoot about 1 spray of fibers in each temple and don't think about surgery for another 5 years, minimum.

Glad you've done your research and made a decision. I'm sure things will go fine. For me personally I just wouldn't feel comfortable going to a surgeon who has very little photographs/video support but that's just me.

Not really, no. That's a good sign. But ultimately hair loss is progressive. That being said it could be another 3 years before it starts looking a lot worse or it could even be another 6-8 months for all we know. But it will happen. That I can guarantee unfortunately. Oh p.s. - I wish I had your hair

Yes sir. I'd start with Rogaine or some derma rolling.
HT or hair system

This really hits home with me. I've studied and researched hair systems for the better part of the last 2-3 years. No doubt they've come a long way from the days of the brutal looking toupee's. They can look absolutely 100% undetectable today if done right. Unfortunately that still doesn't change the fact that you are in fact wearing hair and yes there is maintenance required and yes it can be a hassle (i.e. Better make sure you got a hat or bandana on at the beach on that 90 degree day).
But for me I feel I would just have general anxiety or paranoia about having it on, people possibly noticing something being "off", and the overall idea that at the end of the day I am wearing fake hair. Having that "don't give a F" mentality works for a lot of people, but it can only go so far with certain things. I'd be much more comfortable if I at least had a real hairline up front and could maybe wear a system behind it, but a complete full topper always kinda wondering if my hairline looks sharp and clean anytime I leave the house or the next day after a clean up I just don't think I could do it.
