  1. I spike it messy and throw a little hair fiber in for now. The pics are after a fresh wash, no styling effort made.
  2. Feel pretty happy man. There’s no product in the pic. Fresh wash. I still use a little hair fiber but not much at all. Like I said, 8 months to go for round two op to be typically matured.
  3. Update! I hit the year mark for the second op earlier this month. Will be interesting to see how it shapes out in the next 8 or so months.
  4. I have no idea how many grafts I have remaining. I didn't hear anything regarding that during or after my operation. I know I was told I had plenty for the second operation. He did say that I should be good with two operations, so we'll see. I know I'm a slow grower so only time will tell. And yeah, I definitely got my hair genes from my dad who went bald so FUT was the right route. Not sure if I'd ever go a third operation. Tbh, the time of regrowth sucks when you just want to live your life with decent hair coverage / no hat. Not expecting a miracle but shooting for the best result. I'm not sure what graft distribution is.
  5. Three month update since my second FUT. Pictures shot in natural evening lighting.
  6. Found another pic showing my hair loss in August 2019. Hope this helps. Feb 2022 was my first FUT transplant - 3339 grafts April 2023 was my second FUT transplant - 2512 grafts
  7. Today marks 1 month out from the second transplant, just over ~2500 grafts
  8. Best stuff is in this thread already. When I have time, will look for another pre-op pic.
  9. Yes, I notice a big difference. The second HT covered gaps and moved its way back. Will post updates over the next couple years since that should be a long process I imagine. 2512 grafts for HT 2.
  10. Hey all. Been awhile since I posted - 14 months since my first HT. Having my second HT this week. Hair after wash below.
  11. I bled because I played tough guy at first and then when the bleeding started he had me revisit the numbing where I was more detailed if it legitimately hurt, which I did. No grafts popped out. He said dermarolling shouldn't have caused an issue regarding my procedure. I had stopped dermarolling months prior. He said he could feel vessels healing during my procedure, but that it shouldn't cause an issue. Hope that helps.
  12. No problem. Look forward to see how it looks by month 18. To be fair, I wouldn't put the current status of my HT on Dr. Bloxham necessarily - it might be my physiology, or any number of factors, causing the slow growth or potential failed growth. There are some weird slow grower cases from my brief research where I could fall into. Time will ultimately tell, plus any insights he provides when I see him again in person at month 14 before doing the back half.
  13. Here is a random pic I took just now (still under fluorescent lights but not directly under the light this time). Will try to get some outside at some point. No product, no styling, just recently washed air-dried hair.
  14. Relatively happy at this time - I am pretty pleased with the front re-shaping of my hairline from where I was. I've always had thin hair. It's still growing. I'll try to switch up the lighting moving forward. Fluorescent lights in previous pics do not discriminate.
  15. Nothing new, continuing with slow growth. Currently, using RU58841 to hold onto my hair in the back-half and a Hairmetto product on the transplanted area to encourage natural growth. At night, using Minoxidil on the back-half. Also, I got a couple of gray hairs now lol.
  16. I have not gotten a scalp biopsy and have not been diagnosed with dermatitis.
  17. I get what you're saying but I think it's too early to call it, don't you? Dr. Bloxham has a video of a guy at the 8 month mark where it looks subpar and by month 18 it looks awesome. I'm not saying that's me but it could be. Plus, Dr. Bloxham from what I researched is one of the most recommended HT surgeons in the northeast, correct me if I'm wrong. With that said, I am willing to bet another HT with him will pan out well over another 18 months, but again I could be wrong. It's all speculative. Open to hearing thoughts/suggestions. As you can probably imagine, I inherited my father's hair genetics and he is completely bald on the top so I'm fighting that war as best I can. I didn't catch it early. It was one of those see a gap in hair under the mirror moments and then going the natural combat route, which didn't work for around a year, then dermarolling + minox/fin, then giving in to a HT. Figured 2 big FUTs and potentially 1 smaller FUT would be the extent of my procedures.
  18. Almost 28! Tried dutasteride and got off after a few months. Been applying topical fin since then in AM and a PM solution with minoxidil. I have applied ru58841 as well. I also use a couple hairmetto products. Guess time will tell when I'm at the 18 month mark.
  19. Yes. Will be doing that this spring - another big FUT. Update pics below. No particular order. Some taken after washing my hair, some where hair was attempted to be styled after the wash (without product), some where I just moved the hair around, and I think one where I put a little product to style. No fibers.
  20. Going slow lol. I'll post this weekend. I think I may be one of those 18 month guys before I know whether I'll want a third pass on the front in a couple years. That patch area in my recent pics still looking bare-ish (fine hairs there but not like the other growth). When I take pics and move the hair around, it can look like nothing is there versus a natural flow after washing my hair, which is when I can see the very fine hairs.
