  1. A lot of top clinics have terrible response times. Ive heard that some doctors take up to 2 years just to respond to email. Its a joke really, but it is accepted, because these doctors dont need your money. They get a lof of request, and most of the good ones do 1 surgery a day, so there is no way they can meet the demand.

If you like Dr Mwamba's work you should send your request to other top docs. Dr Heitmann, Dr Pinto, Dr Feriduni, Hattingen, Dr Bisanga, Dr Ferreira, Dr Pekiner, Dr Keser.

If you want a good surgeon, you will have to wait.

Personally, I think this result is overall satisfactory. I think the hairline is exceptional. The temples in my opinion could’ve been a bit more aggressive. I think the transitionary zone could use a different shape.

I don’t know why people keep mentioning cost, that’s irrelevant. A good result is good regardless of cost, a bad result is bad regardless of cost.

Hasson and Wong are one of the best clinics because of their ethics, not just their results. Hair transplant surgery isn’t perfect, and no surgeon on earth is perfect. Anyone questioning whether Dr. Hasson can deliver surely have never seen @Aftermath result. His hairline and temples are probably the best I’ve ever seen on this forum.

I think his hair characteristics and color are very similar to @Nordster34 I would use him as a template.

We shouldnt judge the surgeon by one underwhelming case, but we also shouldnt say that the same surgeon does amazing work based on his best ever result.

The issue here is clear, Hasson made errors. The hairline and temples look off. "Exceptional" result shouldnt look like this, because it clearly looks like the hair has been altered.

I would be very grateful if the clinic came forward and said what parts of surgery are actually done by dr Hasson himself. From the threads Ive read it seems that his involvement is minimal.

  3. @Fue3361is the best recent example as mentioned before

some other cases that I remember:

Its worth to note that most women that get ht, also get their temples closed and rounded so this sort of design is not weird, or unusual, its just hard to perform on guys due to inherent couse of mpb. Design like that requires more grafts, higher density, and a great surgeon that undestands how temple transplants work, and performs them often.  In my opinion though, you should get whatever hairline you want, I have seen men with "feminine", closed hairlines and they didnt look weird at all.

4 Super Premium Package with Dr Arika Bansal/Founding Surgeon

Procedure Lead By – Dr Arika Bansal

    Cost Per Graft – INR 350 + 18% Tax

Planning & Designing & Complete Slits to be Performed by Dr Arika Bansal and further assisted by the Senior Eugenix Technicians under the supervision of the doctor.

So the cheapest option that would include a "founding surgeon", is around the price of 5USD? They are taking a piss it seems, especially when you consider the fact that the results they put out have been going down in quality for a while now. I dont even understand who is this pricing for? Certainly not for indians, europeans, asians or african people. Funny stuff, eugenix seems to not be a decent option anymore.

  5. 1000 - 1500 sounds about right, depending on how aggressive you want to go, but if you are so bothered by your looks to the point of obsessing every day about your hairline, then I just have to say that losing 10kg would improve your appearance much more than 10k hair surgery.

Your hair looks decent, and full at the moment, so your case is more of a want than a need in my opinion.

I just looked at this case and love the angles he created on the temples.  Do you know the availability? A year out?

The work really looks high quality, but its nothing like what you want. That person got hairline and temple reinforcement, while you are looking for complete reconstruction and hairline lowering.

  7. The best doctors for this type of temple work from what Ive seen are Dr Mwamba, Dr Bisanga, Dr Reddy, Dr Konior, Hasson and Wong, Dr Cooley and Dr Couto. The most important things when it comes to temple transplantation are choosing the finest, yet healthy hair in your donor and placing them at a very low degree, while also following the way your hair naturally flows. You described your hair as "thick and wavy" - good when you want coverage, but not perfect when it comes to this very delicate area.

There are MAYBE 15 clinics in the world that are capable of producing "good enough" temple work, so choose carefully and take your time.

  8. The biggest issue here is the skill of surgeon that did this surgery, not the decision to go with it. If a top tier surgeon operated on him, this trasnplanted hairline would look much more natural, it could even be salvageable with 1 more transplant. Ultimately some people shouldnt have a HT ever if they are meant to be NW7 with bad donor, but being young doesnt really matter here IMO.
