Thank you guys very much for your thoughtful comments. I consider everything you have written. If I decide to undergo the procedure I will for sure try to do as detailed post as possible for you !

Looks like you live in Europe so you have plenty of surgeons to pick from, any particular reason you have those 2 as your options?
I have seen some decent consistent results from these two and they both do FUT and FUE (I want to do FUT but want to chose a surgeon that does both) Do you have any other names in your head that would fit my budget?

You’ve only been on fin for 7 months, I would also consider adding oral minoxidil and switching to dutasteride if you have no sides on fin. You can get back a significant amount of density by combining oral min and dut for a year. I also think FUT would be a mistake, your hair loss isn’t that severe and FUT is only a good option when you need a large number of grafts (over 3000). There are much better surgeons in Europe for a similar price than the ones you’re considering. Most of the elite docs will reject you as a patient and tell you to wait.
I can not wait. I am thinking about for 5 years now. I have to go with FUT in case my condition gets worse to have more grafts to maybe do 2 FUTs and then FUE later in my 30s. I know how much it would help me mentaly. Duta is not important right now I will se what 1 year on fin does and then maybe add oral minox but I have to study risks before I do that. My dad has heart condition and my mother died to brain cancer so I do not want to risk any health/heart issues.

24 years old male, eastern Europe. Receding hairline. Need about 2000-2700 grafts. Budget is 7 000 usd. Been on this forum for a while and I am consuming Hair transplant content for years. Been on finasteride 1mg/day for 7 months and I think my hairloss slowed down. I want to undergo a HT surgery this year around october-november and I want to do FUT (to maximize grafts). I am currently flirting with two options : Dr. Saifi from Poland od Dr. Pathomvanich from Thailand. Traveling to Poland is 4 hours drive whilst traveling to Thailand is 12 hour flight. Price seems very similiar around 6k usd for 2400grafts but in case I decide to go with Dr. Pathomvanich I also have to buy plane tickets and some accomodation (1-1.5K more). If you have any recommendations within my budget let me know. Also thinking about my non-existent temporal peaks. probably need to reconstruct them to frame my face.

Great result !

Thats amazing, any pre op photos ?

If I decide to pull the trigger, it is your fault. No seriously I am so amazed. I am 24 years old and I feel like this hairloss is stealing my identity and this is one of those stories that motivates me to fight the smart battle. I have to say that in my eyes this is such a beautiful transformation. I enjoy watching your updates because I fantasize about doing HT with Dr pathomvanich in the future with similiar result , thank you so much for sharing!
btw the scar seems invisible, you can go lower on the guard with your dark hair without noticing it. SMP is the option in your case imo

Looking forward to your update

The temporal peaks made the biggest change of your appearance, so youthful in comparison to before photos

Such an amazing and detailed post ! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Seems like they took a good care of you and you are on your way to getting your dream hair back. I will be following this thread for sure. Also have to check Dr. Path and his clinic because I am also looking to get my first HT via FUT method at the end of this year.
Good luck !

Do you also have monthly pics of the scar ? Would like to see how it's healing

Seems like you are on a right path, also went kinda aggresive on the hairline lowering

My dermatologist told me that it is because they only have 5mg pills and that they can prescribe this drug for patients that have prostate problems. Told her I can split the pill in 4-5 pieces but she is just not allowed to prescribe fin for hairloss. Kinda disappointed

Yes, Czech Republic.

Hey,
So I went to my dermatologist to ask him about fin prescription and unfortunately I found out that in my country (CZ), finasteride is not approved so I wanted to ask here:
Is there any other way I could possibly get finasteride?
-
Yes please, keep us updated @Tb12

Good call on the Fin. I'm 25 and I was in the same boat and I had a transplant done. Your NW level isn't bad, its definitely receeding and a transplant in the future would be beneficial (age 25+). In terms of hairline, most transplant surgeons wouldn't go very much lower than what you currently have because it would look unnatural when you're a bit older. To me you look like you're a good candidate because it seems you have wavy hair with good donor density and decent scalp contrast making the appearance of transplanted density a whole lot easier. You have plenty of options. Just try not to expect to have "perfect" hairline because its just really not realistic for us younger folk, we won't have the same perfect hairline as many of our peers. But when we are in our 30s onward we will probably have better hair 😃
Good luck whatever you choose,
Finasteride, Minoxidil, maybe Microneedling, Nizoral, Alfatradiol are all some options you can use to hair prevent loss and even grow new hair!
Thank you for the response, I will definitely do my best to postpone my HT and keep most of my hair ! In terms of HT I also would not go much lower - I would just fix my hairline.
