    Hello everyone, I have been using 0.5 mg finasterif daily for 5 months. Is that a hair growth in the front or is that a hair loss? I also use regain twice a week and always use vitamin b before going to bed. opinions? tips?

    My goal was to strengthen my hair with Fin for 9-10 months and then do an HT at the age of 25. of course then continue with fin. dr pekiner also said i should strengthen my hair first before the HT. What do you think

    great result! Will also go to dr pekiner at the end of 2021. am 24 years old actually wanted immediately but pekiner wanted me to first strengthen my hair with finasteride 0.5 mg and stop my hair loss. Do you continue to use finasteride? and did you also have hair loss from the tonsure?

    Good evening friends, I am 24 years old and have been suffering from hair loss since I was 21. I wanted to do an HT with Dr Kaan Pekiner. We did a Facetime, which I thought was really great. He said that if he did an op with me now, he would have a good result, but recommended that I start with Finasteride 0.5 mg first and generally strengthen the hair on the back of the head everywhere and then do the HT. I will start with Finasteride 0.5 + Regaine from now on. (Have used Regain for 5-6 months) Loved his honesty. My question to you ... has anyone had good experiences with finasteride with 0.5 mg? And what do you say about my hair status? Best regards

    Good evening folks, I am 24 years old and I took care of Dr.Pekiner talked about Facetime, what I thought was mega of him. And he heard me what I heard with the finasteride. He said that he should now do an HT and the front area immediately, as I said, that means the hair in the tonsure is falling out more, and my hair loss was first kept. I've never got finasteride but I'll do it. Did you still have my property? thanks.

    I think you should take fin and minoxidil for a few years and see where you are then. You still have a lot of hair there, to me 2500 looks a lot for that area. Because your crown is thinning you need to be careful with using too many grafts on the hairline at a young age. One year of the meds and researching on this forum will do you a lot of good, and you'll be in a much better position to make a decision then.

    Hello, you were right. I talked to dr.pekiner facetime and he recommended that I start with finasteride first to stop the hair loss and even save the tonsure only then would he do an HT for my frontline after about 4 months.
