Yes, this patient has been on minoxidil for some years now.
Oral or topical?

Coming along nicely. What's your oral minox dosage?
-
Big difference from your pre op photos. nice one

Yes there is hope. I would give topical fin a try. Also low does oral minoxidil would be a good idea. I wouldn't waste my money on PRP but that's my opinion.
How old are you?

finasteride and minoxidil would be your best option

Absolutely Incredible result! Can you style you hair any other way? ( as in all forward etc)

would look better with a bit of recession in my opinion

My hair amount varies depending how long ago I washed it. If i haven't washed for 2 -3 days then it is a lot higher than when I am washing it everyday

great result

Thanks! I'm feeling quite good about where it is at. Still a bit nervous about the part that is lagging the rest but I know it's still early days.
Yes, I believe that is the one I stayed at. They managed it all for me, which was nice.
Great change from where you started. Still early days.

I’ve been on it for about 2 years 2.5 mg daily. I’ve heard the Kevin mann vid recently about his opinion against it.
I haven’t had major problems, some days I can recall feeling a bit light headed and on the occasion get the tight chest. I will go see a cardiologist soon to run a ecg or ekg or really anything they suggest and I’ll asses further. I’ll update here in case anyone finds interest in it.
Has it helped you hair any? Any regrowth? Maintenance?

I did use topical minox years ago, but didn't find the effect that good. So I should take both avodart and Fin?
I would just take avodart. Plus Oral minoxidil not topical
-
I would look into taking avodart and oral minoxidil and see if that helps before going for a 2nd op.

Been on 5mg daily for almost 6 months. Only sides are a much thicker beard, eyelashes, and eyebrows. No other body hair was affected (arms, etc) which was weird.
How is the hair on your scalp? Improving?

Following post.
Im currently taking 2.5mg daily but only started 2 weeks ago.

So 4 months have quickly passed and time for an update.
As I mentioned in my 3 month posted, I had definitely noticed signs of growth.
I think it’s fair to say I have had a good amount of growth since.
Lots of singles in my hairline came through with one area in particular coming very thick and fast. If the rest of my hairline comes through with the same density I will be very happy.
Some areas are a bit behind other areas with the furthest areas of my temples being the thinnest but it seem to be slowly thicken up as each week passes.
I was thinking that perhaps singles come through first but as Ian from BHR pointed out - it’s more of a percentage.
Lots more singles at a higher density are packed in the hairline.
If I would have let my hair grow then it probably would have a better illusion of density at this point but I was happy to keep it short and only leave it to grow once I started to see growth.
I went to the barbers yesterday for my first trim since the procedure. I only had short back and side and totally left the top but I had a nice smile on my face looking in the mirror at my new hairline coming in.
The last time I sat in the barbers chair and he lifted my fringe was a horrible feeling to see how far back I had receded.
I would love to hear your thoughts.Looking brilliant and only 4 months in! Are you taking pfizer oral minoxidil?
