Thanks Babou this is helpful as I myself will start the oral minoxidil soon.

how many hairs would you estimate you lost daily before using the oral minoxidil if you don’t mind me asking?

this should be you set for a good few years now friend

    Hi Rambo,

that’s really difficult to quantify but right now it’s really only a few.

    Hi Badou1410

This is a great result! dr B is one of the best.

Are you taking the oral minoxidil still and do you feel like you have had any regrowth or thickening from it?

    HI Rambo,

Yes I am still taking the oral minox prescribed by the doc. I have no idea if my hair is thicker as it is normally already pretty thick. The changes I do saw, are the hairloss, before minox I lost a lot of hair on a daily basis and now less.

  3. This is my 12th month and final update :)
As mentioned before there are no real changes anymore and that for a few months already.
I was really lucky to be an early grower and have a lot of hair by month 4.
Seen where I am coming from (NW2-3), I am really satisfied by the results. My hairline is back and my donor still has a lot to offer in case I would be needing a new surgery.
I would like to thank the community for their help and support. Hopefully my post will help people still having any doubts.

    Hi Babou,

Thanks for the story of your journey!

Are you happy with the result so far?

I was at Dr Bisanga last week so just at the beginning of my journey :)

    Hi Marco,

Yes I am happy about the result, my hairline is back and you don't notice anything on the donor area.
If I want to be picky, I can maybe add some more density to the hairline by a 2nd surgery but honestly I wont.

The result is really good and I need to compare with where I am coming from ;)

Looks great - that’s you set for a good few years now.

If you wanted to be super critical, you could argue a few extra grafts in the left hand side just off the centre of your hairline may give you the total ‘home run’ experience , I have seen this with a few other Bisanga hairlines, so it may just be a design style of his, possibly to do with a part line or historical cowlick etc? Maybe @Raphael84 could chime in? But non the less , it looks great, and to anyone in the street, they’d never assume you to be a hair loss sufferer.

How are you getting on with the oral minoxidil and SP? Still taking both without sides?

Yeah indeed if you want to be a perfectionist, a few grafts extra would make it perfect but I am already satisfied with the result.

still on minox and SP, no sides so far 😉

Amazing result! What is the usual wait list for Bisanga?

Also, I've noticed that he does mostly hairline and not crown. Am I wrong?

    HI Fernand,

In my case it was quick, I had a meeting with him in October and byt the end of November I had the surgery.
I would say Dr B. does all types of baldnesses, maybe @Raphael84 can comment on that as he is BHR rep.

Same with me regarding your density comment. But if you don’t look so closely, it looks dense enough to blend in with the rest of your hair. Maybe that’s what they mean by “illusion of density”?

That said, we are still early in the game and hopefully it gets denser in the months ahead. And in my case, I wouldn’t want it to be too dense as it will create a mismatch with my non transplanted area.

Yes exactly, no idea if this is the illusion of density people speak about.
Contrary to you I need it to be more dense to match the existing hair.
As you said we still have 6 months to go 😉

You were a quick grower so I expect most of the grafts to have probably ‘popped’ by now ... and we should see  you continue to thicken for the next few months really bringing this into a top tier result.

Yeah sure could be but I honestly hope to have some additional growth to have a good density.

    Let's wait and see :)

These results are insane for 4 months. I saw this on the Instagram and I already commented there too. When you hit 12 months you’re going to have the look of native density in your hairline.

and your donor looks untouched and it’s ridiculously thick. I’m pretty sure you could could have been a Norwood 6 and restored yourself to a Norwood 0.

Thanks man, let's hope the growth will continue on this positive trend :)
