Everything has improved it would seem looking at these latest pics 😳
Thanks @JohnAC71. I think I will have to upload some better pictures in some natural lighting. The bathroom light is very misleading. I will try get some natural light pictures taken tomorrow.

Hi I've been meaning to update on the donor area and managed to take some pictures. The donor area I suspect is still the same. It all depends on how you have your hair cut. I've let it grow longer than I usually have it. I used to have it cut to a 0.5 and now I think its more of a grade 2 or 3 which helps to hide any patches that may be there. The lighting probably isn't the best so I will try take some more in natural light and update soon.
Hard to tell from those pictures as very blurry and dark.
do you have any in the light?
have you spoken to the Dr about your concerns?
Hi I'm not concerned about the donor area at all. You have to remember a lot of hairs were removed from there that will never regrow. Expectations have to be realistic. I'm more concerned about the recipient area and want to see more hair there. It's just a waiting game.

Hey @BA-FUE
hows the donor looking?
keen to understand what they have said in relation to the donor.
this picture you shared previously did look like possible over harvested as if shock loss you would have expected this to be gone by month 7

Hi Melvin thanks for showing the difference and it does show an improvement but it's slightly misleading. The picture on the left was taken 3 months AFTER the FUE and doesn't show where I started from before I had the HT. I will attach the picture of my hair taken a few days before I had the HT and that would be more accurate to compare to the picture on the right.

Hi @BA-FUE- Seems to be coming along although slowly. Since you are a slow grower, could take 18 months to see full results.
Check out this post...
Thanks so much for that link 🙏 I watched the video and it's really reassuring. Hopefully I get the growth before then but it's a long process and unfortunately I'm definitely in the slow growth group, buts it's nice to know I'm not alone.

What they have offered you will do you no good.
Hi that may be true and may not make any difference but I'm happy they are being proactive and working to find a solution.

Hi just an update at 8 months today. Picture attached. I contacted the clinic due to the lack of growth and they have offered me PRP and laser cap. I've had one session of PRP and laser for the last 3 or 4 weeks now. I've also started oral minox to help improve growth. Besides the hair growing longer I haven't really noticed much growth or density but have noticed I am shedding again.

at 7 months, I would say that you are far behind, I'm really sorry, but I think you will improve a lot, moreover the donor area seems overhaversted, to me, after 7 months it cannot be a shock loss. Did you contact Dr. Arshad? if so what did he tell you?
Hi you may be right. I've been in contact over what's app with the clinic giving updates every so often but I haven't discussed the donor area. Last contact was last month. In terms of growth I think it is very slow progress. I was really hoping for more coverage by now but I think its too early to write it off completely.

I decided to take an outdoor picture in natural lighting. 7 months today. I've also taken a picture of the back of my head to show the donor area. I never noticed it before and it does seem quite sparse in the donor area. Perhaps shows more because its a low grade cut and I should really grow it out more or do you think its been over harvested? (Sorry can't seem to rotate the donor area picture)

Excellent write up and what a transformation. You really did get a growth spurt between month 3 and 4 with another 8 months to go. Happy growing

I've not really paid too much attention to the donor area. Out of sight of mind but I will take a few pictures of it and upload on my next monthly update.

Thanks for the reassurance. A while ago I saw a chart indicating % of growth over the year. Any one got a link to it? Or am I making it up...

Really helpful video. Thanks. I've just hit month 4 and I'm definitely a slow grower. Trust the process.

At the fourth month tomorrow and it seems not quite at the cusp. If anything hair doesn't seem to be improving. It's still too early to write it off but fingers crossed it begins to improve. Noticing a lot of hairs on my pillow in the morning. I was hoping the shedding phase was over. Some lucky guys around the 4 month stage have excellent results arpund this time but we shouldn't compare ourselves to others. I'm hoping I'm just a slow grower.

That's a real transformation! Amazing result.

Looks right on point for 1 month. Keep up with the sebamed and you could always change to baby shampoo if you find your scalp getting too dry. Good luck with the ugly duckling stage. Hope it passes quickly. I'm 4 weeks ahead of you and this is the worst part but after this stage its happy growing 🤞
