  1. This picture is the scar after 1 year. Its not even noticeable
  2. Haha yes people have definitely complimented me on it! I don't tell many people I've had this procedure but the ones I have told were SHOCKED because they couldn't tell!
  3. Thanks man!! I'm thrilled with the results and I'm just hoping that people find this helpful 😊
  4. Sorry for this very late reply but yeah, if you still have questions you can fire me a message any time!
  5. Sorry everyone I've been MIA in this forum for a while haha, but yeah I have updated photos ! So its been 18 months now so I'm definitely at my "full" results and boy this transplant did not disappoint! Theres some things that I'd probably like to improve upon, the density in the vertex area of my scalp is a bit lower than I hoped however its easy to conceal and I'm very happy considering I was NW4 and after a single 3000 graft fut it looks like I have a perfectly full head of hair again! I'm able to style it in many different ways when before there was literally nothing I could do with it. Overall im super happy and would recommend Dr. Gupta, the price was very good and the results are life changing. I'm sure in the future I'll end up with another transplant probably in my vertex area just to increase density a bit and control any further hair loss!
  6. I Know!! Im so excited for the final result! It'll be just in time for the summer 😁
  7. Hey so the hairline isn't actually straight, it was just the angle, this what it looks like straight on. I think it looks pretty natural, especially because this is my exact original hairline to a T.
  8. Yeah the doc seemed to think so hah, but I'll have to judge that for myself in coming months The scar is great, very hard to get a pic because my hair is quite long and dense back there because I havent been able to cut in many months ahah , I'm gonna see if I can get a couple good ones and I'll upload them! Its barely noticable, just a tiny bit red thats all I notice. My doctor's closure technique is 👌
  9. Ty for the kind words 😁, I've already accepted the fact nothing is ever perfect so I choose to be happy with this result and I think I'll be happier about it in another 6 months 😁
  10. Yeah its pretty much that, he based on old photos. My original hairline was pretty straight. Maybe it might not be great in the long run I dont know, it might look too juvenile as I age not sure yet. I can always correct it probably if necessary.
  11. Honestly overall hair transplants will never actually look totally natural tbh, because its not lol. But they can get some pretty good results, and people on these threads tend to be dramatically more critical than most because we all spend a lot of time looking at hairlines LOL. Normal average people probably don't notice the little imperfections, especially if you can mask it with nice hair styles! For me I'm pretty happy with my results and I know its still early and it will improve even further! Like I said earlier hah, its by FAR alot better than before transplant!
  12. Do you mean in terms of a "pluggy look"? Yeah the lighting and pics I took there aren't great for seeing the details. Im not even at 6 months yet and the texture of it is still coarse, wiry and a bit whispy unlike my native hairs so its not yet matured. I think once the hair is matured, the staggered peaks they added should make it look a bit more natural I think. I also dont think I'll be doing a slick back sort of style.. I'm just doing it in my pics so its abit more clear to see the changes, I'll probably pull it forward to conceal the hairline a bit. I think its always important to consider specific hairstyles and realize that in many cases you're limited to what you can pull off, even after a transplant. Still miles better than where I started lol... and it has many improvements yet to go. I'll transplant again if necessary 😅 Heres an upclose of the hairline with direct light and its still quite unnmatured
  13. Looks good! I myself was considering going with Dr. Rahal. FUT was the best option for sure. Generally speaking (but not always) it can sometimes yield higher density results than Fue. But for me, the reason why FUT was the only viable option was because I'm 25 like you and I want to preserve the donor area for future transplants. Fue can thin out the donor zone a bit making FUT in the future less dense. The scar doesn't bother me in the least tbh haha... Anyways, good growth! I have no doubt that you're going to be in for a treat with a bunch of major improvements in the next 2 months or so!
  14. Yes the density is amazing! The mircrograft technology the clinic uses is one of the best. The founder of the clinic, the late Dr. Seager actually pioneered this high density micrograft method and he was very highly regarded in all of North America. The current clinic still uses his methods! That was a huge selling factor for me. My result is also a great example of how effective FUT can be in fulfilling a high density transplant.
  15. Words just cannot describe how much this has changed my life! In such a short time. Anyone who is on the fence should consider a HT... its not for everyone but the results are mind boggling. Even advanced cases like mine (NW4) there is hope that it can yield an excellent result! The new hair is a bit wirey and coarse but apparently it takes some time for the texture to change to match the rest of the hair. I know I'm one of the luckier ones because I am an early grower... my doctor said its rare to see a result like this in under 6 months. I hope that people who are watching this thread know this... I don't want anyone feeling bad about their results at 6 months because this is very early in the process for the large majority. Many people are just starting their growth at this time. Anyway, I hope everyone is finding the updates atleast a bit interesting and I will continue to as I go, albeit the results may be less and less noticeable from this point onward. 😁
  16. I had a transplant with them about 5.5 months ago. Process was very smooth and comfortable. Dr. Gupta was not overly friendly or personable. He also didn't push to sell.me the transplant, I told him I wanted 3 months to consider it and he respected that without any pressure. Their team of doctors is great. They were attentive and extremely professional, they performed the implantations with Dr. Gupta supervising. But he personally performed the FUT incisions and the scar is virtually unnoticeable. His closure technique is second to none imo. My results at 5.5 months are pretty incredible, check out my 3000 graft fut thread. He did call and check in on me from time to time to ensure I was doing the proper aftercare procedures. I would definitely recommend.
  17. I had one with him 5.5 months ago. Yeah maybe some of the descriptions are accurate about him about him being not personable. But his results are legit. His closure technique is excellent, and him and his staff have done a great job and I'm seeing Amazing results this early. Check out my thread if you wanna see my progress. I would definitely recommend him!
  18. Extractions and incisions were done by Dr. Gupta himself, he had a team of three that were dividing up grafts for implantation. Very good technique in that incision, my fut scar is virtually invisible! The implants were done by a couple members of his team (can't remember the names) with him supervising! All in all, there was about 6 people involved in the process.
  19. Dr. Aditya Gupta with Surehair International/Seager hair transplant centre in Toronto, Canada! Very skilled team they have there haha!
  20. Yeah its actually shocking how fast its happening now lol, but I guess now a lot of the finer hairs are starting to mature so its really filling in the gaps. Its so hard to even notice the scalp underneath now haha
