  1. Did you take your meds on an empty stomach? In the past, with Vicodin, I would vomit almost every time if I didn't have food in my stomach when taking it.
  2. Thanks for the reply, Bill. I guess what I am really wondering is how one Dr. can be charging almost 50% from another for the same amount of grafts. As you have said, I would "be in excellent hands with either physician"; with both physicians recommending each other, it would seem like it's a no-brainer to go with the less expensive one. Any thoughts about such a dramatic difference in pricing?
  3. I am curious as to what everyone thinks of these two doctors in La Jolla, CA. Who would you choose between the two? I realize that Dr. Ross is not a member of the coalition (yet), but I have read good things about him recently, and his price is very attractive. Both doctors actually recommend each other and have very nice things to say about one another. Dr. Ross is about 30% less expensive. Dr. Reed is only available half of the month and I would have to wait several weeks longer for the procedure. I was quoted around $7,500 for 2,000 - 2,200 grafts by Dr. Reed, and around $5,000 by Dr. Ross. In an earlier post I read that Dr. Ross was behind in times when is came to the current techniques. Is this still the case? I believe that thread was from 2007. Another concern I had with Dr. Ross is that he was trained under Dr. De Yarman, whom I haven't read very good reviews of here. Thanks for all of your help and I look forward to reading your responses.
