  1. Hi, Gatsby... I appreciate all your insight and guidance for people.

I'm trying to find a few top surgeons in the US to explore consultations with. My case is similar to yours, in that I don't have a ton of donor hair left -- maybe 2000 grafts... beard and chest still available.

Can you name a few top US surgeons for cases like this?

To be honest I think that you might be better served by doctors such as Dr Sethi and Dr Pittella when it comes to augmenting a small scalp donor with beard/chest hair. There may be others who are equally good but to be honest I'm not aware. Eugenix are excellent in donor management as they were with myself and @Bandit90 and many others with limited scalp supply. All the best!

  2. Gatsby.... Two questions, I hope you can help me with:

    1) Does the texture of your hair feel frizzy given the amount of beard and chest hair that you used for your scalp? Also -- does the hair on your chest appear patchy since the transplant, or is it hard to tell?

      Hey Slickster76,

I don't find my hair frizzy. I do find that when I wake up in the morning my hair tends to stick up and I really need a shower or to spray it to comb it back to a normal style. I do have the odd flyer beard hair in the mix but I use a dab of pomade wax and rub it on my hands then run it through my hair to hold it all down and comb my hair backwards. There are zero scars on my chest and it looks no different. I can't really tell where the chest hair is as I color my hair medium/light brown. This helps all of the scalp, beard, chest hair blend together.

  3. Hi... Amazing story and thank you for sharing.

My question is about the scarring. From the photos, your skin looks great....but up close, can see you scarring in the face and neck area?

Also, how is your chest? Is it patchy now, scarred, or no?

    Thanks again.

Along my lower cheeks there is a slight redness at 9 months post op HT2. But as with the first HT I expect it to improve. Either way it’s nothing compared to the scars I had before surgery.

  4. Hey Gatsby, since I am new to the forum I do not have permission to message you so hope you don't mind me posting on your public feed.

I saw your comment on one of the posts regarding SMP saying you found an artist in Adelaide. Can you share their details with me, please? I am planning to get SMP done.

    Thanks,

    Madan

  5. Hi,

I was wondering about your opinion about Fuecapilar, especially Dr. Gur. They seem to have quite good reviews around the forums.
I have an offer from Gur for a minor touchup of around 1400 graft’s. I am between a Norwood 2 and 3. Do you believe its safe to go there and do you believe Dr. is capable of doing a natural hairline. I am European with straight brown hair.

Judging by your pics your hair line is where a good hair transplant would be struggling to mimic. I'm not a doctor but I highly recommend you see your doctor and use finasteride. I know this is not what you want to hear but I think surgery at this point would be a mistake. All the best.

    Re: Eugenix!

Hello, appreciate all your great insights on here. Curious if any insights into other top clinics in India or more so the other doctors within Eugenix? Is it only Dr Das and Sethi that are recommended or are the other packages and less experienced doctors equally some of the best in India? I’m an N3 and looking at about 3500 grafts. Thanks!

I would have confidence in all of the doctors who have been trained over a good period of time under the specific guidance and quality control of Dr Sethi and Dr Bansal. Dr Das, Dr Vinita, Dr Somesh and Dr Anil are all excellent surgeons. All the best.
