  1. What am I looking in terms of cost? I tried looking on the website for some indicative pricing but couldn't find it.
  2. Dr Turan/Dr Gur, based in Turkey? Do they charge per graft or a set price?
  3. so I got this checked out from one of his reps, Dr Cinik does the channel opening for the DHI Sapphire if I pay a little more, approx. 3490 euros.
  4. I completely understand your point but I was completely bold from the front, maybe two silly hair strands existed but after the transplant it was a success. I had a lot of people come up to me and congratulate me and ask for Cinik's details. When I first joined this forum, Dr Cinik had a decent rep and he was a recommended surgeon but 2 years later he's one of the worst. I am not disagreeing with anything you are saying btw.
  5. so some background info, I had my first transplant with Dr Cinik in 2020, got my front done. Tbf he did a good job and now I need my crown doing so hence the reason why I was looking at his surgery again. There's a high chance I may need up to 3 transplants judging by my hair loss so difficult to opt for a more expensive surgeon. If I had minor hair loss and maybe could get away with one transplant then I'd consider a better surgeon with better ratings
  6. So with DHI does Dr C do the incisions himself? Or is that only for fue?
  7. Hi All, I am perfectly aware that Dr C isn't highly rated on this forum and its evident with the high rates of poor results. But I have a question on his DHI offering, does he use an external team that are DHI experienced and wouldn't this option be better to go for and allows you to avoid having his usual cowboy nurses who he uses for FUE etc. Unless it's the same team? More details on what's on offer: 'Exclusive package and the canal opening is done by Dr. Cinik and as usual the consultation and hair line drawing will be done by him too. In both cases he will be monitoring everything. Dr Cinik does not perform DHI, for Dhi we have very experienced Dhi teams have been working with Dr Cinik for over 7 years.' Apologises if this has already been covered on this forum. Thanks
  8. I have sent a direct message to Dr. Taleb Barghouthi. He's highly recommended on here so looking forward to his response.
  9. What's the typical cost for FUECAPILAR? Are the Spain based?
  10. Hi All, In 2020 (Feb) I got my hair transplant done at Dr Cinik's clinic. Paid a little extra for him to do the channel opening. At the time I got my front done but now would like to perform the same procedure on my crown area. At the time, I came across some good reviews on Dr Cinik here, which contributed in me choosing him but reading the recent posts/comments on here have me a little worried and hesitant in going back to him My results were pretty good (sorry no pics) in the first 1 year. Now (2 years later) its still good but not as dense as the first year. Doesn't help when I am smoking (shisha) 3-4 times a week. I paid roughly around £2500 for over 4k grafts. The price was also a factor for me in deciding to go to Dr Ciniks. Can you please recommend me a surgeon/clinic that is similar in price to Dr Cinik but has better reviews/results? I know some of you will suggest to save up a little and find a more reputable surgeon but I want to get my crown done in the next few months and have a tight budget. Any responses will be appreciated. Thanks
  11. Hi All, i am coming to 3 months since my HT. I have a question on massaging, can i massage my recipient area with my fingers? I know its still recovering and slightly sore but it feels good when i massage it gently. Will it help with recovery?
  12. Hi All, I had my hair transplant precisely 2 months ago and wanted to know if it was safe to get a haircut? A simple haircut same length all around. My hair currently looks quite scruffy and definitely need a haircut. Thanks
  13. Hi, It's been 11 days since my hair transplant and apart from the prescribed medicine by my surgeon I'm not consuming anything else. Do I need to take stuff like Biotin, saw palmetto, vitamins etc? Do people get decent results without taking the above? I'm not sure if I see any benefit in most of them. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
  14. Thanks. Exactly what i have started doing.
  15. Hi All, It's been 9 days since my hair transplant, i'm washing scabs carefully and can see that the scabs are falling. But i have noticed small hairs within the scabs that are falling, is this normal? No bleeding or pain etc but this has me slightly concerned or is this part of the process? Cheers
  16. So, reading the instructions from my surgeon, it says wash with foam and shampoo for 7 days. This then should be followed by talking a normal shower directly under pressure and start to remove the scabs by massaging. Scabs need to be removed by 3 days so the hair can grow. Is this normal?
  17. Looking at some YouTube videos, it shows pretty strong head massage whilst washing on the 8th wash. Is this normal? At the moment I'm pressing gently on my transplanted area.
  18. It's 7 days after my transplant. My scabs are falling mainly from my donor area but very little from the transplanted area. Am I being over cautious being a first timer? I currently massage my donor area only do you think it would be wise to massage (softly) my transplanted area now?
  19. Hi, I have been recommended by my surgeon to have atleast 7 washes (foam and shampoo) before going back to normal showering. Then using the massage technique remove the remaining scabs within 3 days. Does this mean massaging my implanted area too? At the moment I'm softly pressing it when shampooing. I've messaged my clinic but awaiting an answer. How long did u guys wash for before going back to normal showering? Thanks
  20. I was thinking of going to the local Holland and Barrett shop and pick up some multivits, saw palmetto and Biotin maybe.
  21. Bril. So I can literally sleep on my side or front like i usually or is it a more of a case of being able to sleep a little more freely but not being careless?
  22. So after 10 nights i+ or so it wouldn't matter if my transplant area gets touched whilst sleeping?
  23. Hi, Do I really need to take tablets such biotin, saw palmetto etc after my hair transplant? What benefits will these bring as I found the prices for them pretty extortionate at the clinic? What did you guys take, what has benefits or are they hype jobs? Thanks
