They have offered me the warrancy and fix the lack of density and the design, really I don't know what should i do

Its a hard one, I think youre result is not too bad. Maybe just fill in the remaining gap and add some density?
Also a possible option is to use some body hair as to not exhaust your donor in case you need future treatment.

Wish you luck with any decision you end up making.

Believe it or not, @100mg Oral Spiro you will find very few reports of guys having any sides over time.  There are even several studies online that tracked the effects on overall hormonal balance in males.  Not much there at all.  Especially if your working out and naturally raising your test levels w/resistance training.

That's my opinion after I read about it.  Most male to female trans take spiro orally 200mgs along w/a shit ton of other estrogen increasing drugs to look more like women.

I never tried topical - I have been on 100mg oral spiro for 19+ months without any sides.  During that time I was lifting very consistently from Oct. '18 through March of '19 when I broke my ankle in 3 places.  I didn't notice any side effects.  Since May '19 I haven't done any resistance training (still recovering from my trimalleor fracture).

There have been a few threads w/pics of guys using topical spiro - but they all had very limited hairloss to begin with.  So they were obsessive and taking alot of other meds as well.

Hard to tell if the spiro was helping outright or was just an adjunct/additive to everything else they were taking.  I guess as usual one could track their test levels before beginning spiro and say 3 months after and see what the #'s show.

    Thanks Jjsrader,

I may give it a go after all.

low dose topical....ill be getting my blood work done soon and will go from there. My goal is to reduce test a little but not to eradicate testosterone.

  3. Hey guys,

Im researching drugs for my second stage after 12 months of Fina, Duta, RU58841 and minoxidl (plus supplements).

If this doesnt work I want to build up a plan B of stronger medications to try and regenerate my thinning crown (pic attached). I have read on an article (attached) that topical spironolactone has no/ minimal sides compared to taking it orally.

Is this true? Has anyone here had success from topical spirolactone? I am ok with some sides as I would eventually shift to maintain vs regrow hair and my libido etc should come back then. I just dont want gyno at all, thats the only side I want to avoid. Again this will only be taken if my current regimen doesnt work in 12 months time.

I really really really dont want to go bald.

    Thanks,

    Sam

My Opinion and personal account (ask a doctor, ideally):

    Continue!

I take oral minoxidil. I had massive shedding for perhaps the first 4 months. May have even been up to 5 months.

I'd rub my hair firmly (no scratching) and maybe 50 hairs would fall out after 15 seconds of rubbing

Used to do it over A4 sheets of paper at work. Would see loads of hairs, which went notably thinner towards the root. It was a bit scary, looking back.

Nowadays, perhaps 5 hairs fall out when doing this.

I was also shedding thick healthy hair. The hair was thinner towards the root, so I assume there was hair underneath taking the nutrients and it was ready to pop through (my basic science of the hair cycle. Shedded hair - club hair, and the new hair pops through a few months later. It;s more complicated than this, but yeah)

Was scary. But my hair was gonna go anyway. I had no option, really.

9 months later. the difference is massive. Thick, dark, root-like hair. Density has increased about 20-30% I'd say, thanks to thicker hair growing in. This could overall postpone my next transplant on the back region by years, perhaps.

Power through, you haven't been on it long enough. And if you don't, it's gonna fall out anyway, so what's to lose?

How much Minoxidl were you applying? Foam or liquid based? Did you derma roll? Also did you take AR5 blockers or any other hair loss drugs that synergised with the minoxidl?

  5. Heres what Donor is currently looking like and also a pic of full head. I have full coverage now but with bad thinning all over which I may be anle to reverse. My hairloss started with trenbolone, an anabolic steroid 7 years ago.

hoping for decent recovery in donor over next few weeks. I will also start dermarolling when my roller arrives in the post next week.

Im expecting the transplanted area to thicken up in the next 4 months.

Any reason why ur on 2.5mg of fin?

Im going on a strong regimen 2.5 mg fin in 2 doses of 1.25 mg morning and before bed. Also starting dutasteride soon 0.5mg daily , ket shampoo and RU58841, I also take saw palmetto and Biotin daily + multivit.

I will give this regimen a year and if it doesnt work ill move on to stronger stuff. Dont really care about sides atm and just want my hair back. I can then lower dosages to maintain and recover libido etc but from what ive seen regrowth mostly happens with stronger regimens only.

I want to thicken the original non transplanted area as much as possible. I am a diffuse thinner nw7 pattern and now that I have gotten my FUE done for my hairline I need to make sure MPB doesnt accelerate since im still 25 years old.

I think the crown is already slowly thickening going off daily images im taking hair also is feeling courser. I also want to research very small doses of estro if all else doesnt work and maybe cypro.

Heres pics of my crown 2 weeks ago and now, I will continue taking pics as I go....

  7. Another pic now at day 8 after 3170 grafts FUE

Im pretty happy with quick healing and hoping for good result. I was shedding with Minoxidl prior so hoping all will come together in 6 months- 1 year time.

Started finasteride 2 months ago, Minoxidl foam  3 months, Saw palmetto oral 7 days ago + biotin and vitamin supplements. Also mixing little crushed saw palmetto and finasteride with the minoxidl foam, nothing to loose so going all out giving my hair last chance lol

I’m sure everything will be fine. The work looks clean. How many surgeries per day does cinik do?

Wouldnt know exact amount and there would be fluctuation. I was in there for 8 hours and had my team with me the whole time.

Heres my head today, no scabbing thus far. I did get a swollen head but think this is normal. I think its looking good?

    How old are you?

i saw a recent dhi result from cinik that was pretty impressive.

does he still fly in a team to do the entire dhi procedure? Only thing he dies during dhi is design the hairline?

I am 25 years old. He just draws the hairline, Cinik seemed pretty busy and I was left in the hands of a young team of 3-4. In saying this they were extremely proffessional and I really dont think they couldve done anything better than they have. I also think they were from Turkey, they were chatting in turkish through the procedure. Choi pens were in rotation being loaded with grafts and passed along refilled etc.

I am thoroughly impressed and dont think the doctor himself not doing the procedure is an issue, especially considering the techs are so talented. Hope I heal well as in a month need to wear a helmet for work. Half the discomfort has already subsided over night. You also get clearly labelled meds and instructions, hotel and transfers included in the price.

We can only wait for results now, cant wait for the ugly duckling phase lol !!

  10. Hey all follicle fighters,

Finally took the plunge and went to Turkey for my HT. All went well and got 3175 grafts FUE extraction with DHI insertion.

Doctor Cinik was hesitant to touch crown and midscalp due to possible shock loss as my hair is thin and finasteride needs time to work as only been on it 2 months (this is also advice I got on this forum: Thank you!).

The worst part by far was the initial anaesthesia injections hurt like a cunt. All the rest was easy tho and you do get used to it really quick, almost was fun!

Lucky for me, we had very few extra grafts at the end of the session and I suggested to implant on crown area. Doubting when and if I should continue with Minoxidl after transplant as had kept getting excessive shed with it. What do others think? I had used it for 2 months prior.

a little history for me: my hair has seen it all. First accutane at 15 years old caused thinning, then anabolic steroids (tren dianabol test) at 18 years old ruined what was left. I also have MPB in the family, even some woman loose their hair in their 70s so I will be on finasteride for life.

I will update with pictures as the journey progressess. Before and after OP pics attached, I am very optimistic with this surgery!

    Thanks,

    Sam

  11. Hey all,

Ive been using minoxidl for the last 8weeks and am getting too much daily loss and shedding. Started off with liquid 5% then switched to foam 5% twice daily.

Im easily loosing well over a hundred hairs daily, this was alot less before I started. Theres hair everywhere and considering my hair was already thinning I really dont know what to do. Also I get healthy thick hairs being shed, not just thinning hair. Most of it is also coming from top of head.

I get really concerned when i read that Minoxidl has caused permanent hair loss in other users.

What does everyone think? When did shedding stop for other users? Im genuinely afraid im going to go bald real fast with this drug.

    Thanks,

    Hello everyone,

So I got like this really and unbelievably thick growth after like 2 and 1/2 years of my transplant.

Pictures clicked by none other than dear Dr. Pradeep Sethi... even his photography skills are beyond this world.

    ASDsD.JPG.7089a50eccdfff7226a6c80e8c54219e.JPGsdfsfe.JPG.c2df05c58a9ffccf3fd41ff71e3c69ef.JPG

And then came the blunder where I decided to colour my hair or just highlight the curls but the hair dresser ruined it by bleaching my hair at least 6 times. Nothing happened to the growth or density but I lost my natural curls and blonde hair didn't really look good on me. So I got a haircut and then sank in my sorrows of losing the hair and the curls I loved so much... sob sob...

But every cloud has a silver lining and I think this new hairstyle is clean and cool. So all is well that ends well. Surprisingly even when I cut my hair in the donor really small, there were no spacing visible. I am truely grateful to God for giving me a good donor and good doctors.

Look at me all swollen up in sorrow. Next procedure for me will be facial liposuction, a nose job and blepharoplasty for my eyebags...

My friend, this is something I should probably not say.... but you have been so lucky with your hair and over all look. Why would you consider nose job etc?

This is none of my business but these procedures can become addictive and the end results I find look worse and sometimes clearly altered especially on men. I would be so happy how your hair went and would be so happy to get your HT results haha!

Again I apologise for saying this but I would just be happy with the hair and stop there, be grateful for what you have :D

If you wanna' be all gung ho - go on brand-name Avodart (dutasteride) & use oral minox (loniten) which has a systemic delivery vs topical delivery.  You can buy those at places like alldaychemist and thailandpharmacy for cheap.  No prescription.  Buy a good laser hair helmet w/at least 300-400 diodes & use it 5X's per week & use 2% Nizoral 3X's (or another high % Keto shampoo) per week 5 minutes on your scalp.

If you are willing to do 2 surgeries - forget Cinik.  Every once in awhile I'll see a really good result from there but it is only w/those w/exceptional donor hair characteristics.  Go w/a top-notch FUE clinic that has more refinement of grafts (especially your frontal hairline & frontal-hairline transition zone).  There are several better FUE clinics in Turkey and one good really good one in India much cheaper than the states.  Use the search function at this website; extensively.

Start w/dense pack of frontal 1/3rd scalp of 3-4K grafts.  What you really want is an artistic irregular non-defined very frontal hairline w/NO double or triple grafts for maximum refinement. You're very frontal hairline and transition zone are what will frame your face for the rest of your life - so do it right and choose a clinic wisely for that 1st surgery.

How slowly you continue to lose hair after the 1st few years of a 'hair bump' w/medical therapies will ultimately depend on your individual genetics.  A couple years of stabilization and a nice frontal 1/3rd hairline & transition zone you could do another round of FUE for further bulking of the frontal 1/3rd working your way back into midscalp and perhaps 'dusting' into the crown for a natural (although quite thin 'whirl pattern).

Another couple years if you are still thinning you could use your remaining scalp FUE donor w/a MIX of beard grafts and continue to bulk up the mid-scalp and then and only then tackle more of the crown.

You could probably do 2 of those sessions if you kept the ratio of scalp hair to beard hair at like 33% scalp hair and 66% beard hair or 40/60.

Above all else you want naturalness so as you continue to SLOWLY lose hair it will look like your naturally balding peers as you age.

Finally, you have nice wavy hair - get on youtube and look at scalp matte concealers (eye shadow/dermatch type stuff) and if you use fibers I would go light and only use the very best that diffuse light in a natural manner.  It takes only a few minutes when your good at it and 'less is more' - and looks more natural w/a lighter touch when you still have lots of hair.

Also, you could do SMP to your scalp even for longer hair every few years.  Ahead Ink is top shelf.

Having written all of that, right now you are being very emotional.  Get on the medical therapies for 6 months and see where you are at before you book your 2K Turkey hair transplant.  You've gotten very good advice in this thread and if you do further research on what I've wrote and you want to go all in please do it step by step.

Or shave your head and keep it short for a week or two and see what your future is in ??? years going all natural.

Good luck.  Frankly, I admire men that naturally go bald - it matters so much less (not to YOU) but to WOMEN & other men as you reach your 30's & 40's.  A nice short haircut if balding w/good skin care and teeth and being fit and wearing a nice wardrobe is a helluva' lot easier to achieve than all the things most of us on here go through to have the 'illusion' of a nearly-full head of hair or even lightly balding or moderate thinning look.

    Hey Jjsrader,

    Thanks for your feedback!

yeah I guess the emotion and guilt comes from the fact that I didnt naturally go bald initially. I basically ruined my teenage years through the use of anabolic steroids and the resulting hair loss. I have been balding and isolated from social life since age 17. I want to turn things around this year as since im 25 I can now understand my time to do so is very limited, I have also lost 26kg and gained an athletic physique. I was thinking oral and topical finasteride combo, minoxidl foam and possibly oral minoxidl, saw palmetto, zinc and biotin I will also look into the laser cap treatment. I think I will get DHT blocking shampoo from Hair transplant clinic.

Basically I chose Cinik as have seen a fair few extraordinary HT by him on this forum and only a single bad one. He also seems to be a trustworthy person at face value and this is valuable to me. I have seen some really expensive clinics get bad results on here also one of which is meant to be the best in Turkey.

Also their replies and customer care thus far have been on point and timely unlike other clinics. I am also offering to send them an extra $1000+ if my HT goes well, it will mean the world to me. I am also hoping I have a strong and thick donor area but only the dr can verify this. I only get 3 weeks off a year in December so I have to bite the bullet and do it within this time frame. In honesty im not too fussed about double grafts on hairline etc as my hair is always longer with fringe hairline is never visible, I am mainly after total cover and frontal density at this point. Ofcourse I would appreciate and prefer a neater job that looks natural. I am also happy to transplant beard and body hair, doesnt bother me at all and in honesty my body hair is very similar to some of my thinning hair in being black, wavy and similar-ish texture.

Some spectacular Cinik results ive seen:
