I’m beginning to believe Dermatch is the way to go as far as concealers ..it took  me about 3 mins , having Quite a bit of existing hairs definitely help. A friend asked today if I did something to my hair... I never told him about the HT so I just sent him a link to dermatch . Although I still do not believe you should start dating without telling her about it, best come clean. 
 

I do have a question for the community, has anyone heard of Minoxidilmax? They sell topical finasteride and seemed to have been around for a while. I want to be on finasteride to boost my 4-6 months growth.

i started oral finasteride every other day yesterday but feeling skeptical. If minoxidilmax is legit I might just pull the trigger and get on it for the upcoming months. I made my own topical but I’m not sure if it works

If I was to ever get another one done it would be FUE towards the crown and the scar... done and done.. but then I’m older than you so I can’t see myself going to get 2 more procedures if any... still praying my current procedure will get better as we speak ... I’m going to be excited for you.

I’m not sure I understand... you mentioned possibly this will be your last surgery but you’re implying going FUT again the FUE? 
 

Will this be done simultaneously or are we talking 2 more procedures?

I can confidently say that I have seen some major improvement in the characteristics that the transplanted hairs have gone through. Those hairs have gotten a lot thicker since the 12 month mark and the wave has only grown more so.

I don’t know how much more it’s going to really change in the next few months but I do still plan to update at 18 months as that is expected to be the final result.

I’ve been letting my hair grow for awhile and got the itch to do something different with it but with everything going on in the world right now I hadn’t been particularly excited to go out and get a haircut so I cut it myself. I wanted to keep the length on top while keeping the sides pretty short. I think it turned out well.

So Dr Arocha said that for the next procedure we’re going to go slightly smaller and do 2000 graft into my scalp. I’m still going to proceed with another strip.

My hairline and the area in green will share 500 grafts while the crown will get 1500. I’m hopeful that would be the last of the last of the transplants for awhile. I’d prefer to get one more strip out if that we’re possible but I also want to throw grafts into my scar so that I may cut it shorter if I have the desire to, however, if I’m not completely happy with density I may push for one more small strip.

I don’t know. We’ll see.

As far as when this will happen could be anybody’s guess. I started a new job in May and now I need to accumulate some paid time off. The clinic is operating under extremely strict protocols right with the pandemic so it’s really up to me.

What I do know is that I couldn’t be happier with how my hair has turned out from this first procedure. While I paid the cost of the hair transplant I still feel extremely grateful for what Dr Arocha has given me which is a sense of great confidence and general well being. He is a tremendous doctor and I cannot wait to get back in that chair and go through this all over again with my crown.

thanks for the response , I try not to hold back...I will trust the process as many would say, but there are definitely times when I’m not so sure. I do want to say it does look better in person, the camera with lights are so honestly brutal

here are 4+ months updates .

im not sure if my crown will ever grow although it’s only 4 months ... still it’s depressing looking at it ... I do feel stubbles all over the head and ideally it will all come out soon... feedbacks are definitely helpful for people to keep posting so I don’t feel like I’m talking to myself ... I hate that my salon gal keep shaving my head ... I would like to to grow out and cover the scar.. I have been I. Touch with a few who had FUT and the scar is undetected ...

Dr. Bloxham - His video documentation of results is the best, bar none. I highly suggest checking his Youtube channel to see what he's capable of. He specializes in FUT so if that's the procedure you want, you're in good hands. Very talented and capable of good work but in some of his cases I think his hairlines come out a little too unbroken and artificial. His scars are practically invisible.

Dr. Diep - I think he has a great sense of aesthetics and hairline design. If your concern was  getting temples/hairline he is superb. I don't think he is as good as H&W at optimizing graft usage to create density in the midscalp/crown. I've seen dubious harvesting for FUE from him, but if you're going through with FUT this is something you can overlook anyway.

Definitely the needles . I had over 80 needles , at least it felt that way. And I’m the guy that’s afraid of getting a flu shot, so it tells you how much I wanted hair

I couldn’t sleep the night before. Partly it’s because it’s not my own bed...also the anticipation.. one thing I regret not doing was shave my head....but I simply didn’t know what to expect. You figured you pay about $20k at least give me a good shave other than just shave the middle.. I think clinics should employ a full time barber. I mean barber not a stylist because all they do is shave . Good luck 

Scar was covered then I went to the salon and she shaved me off. It’s showing now but she said it won’t show next week. And she’s cut hair for a few FUT fools. I’ll trust her word and if it still shows next month I’m firing her

This is no DermMatch today 

Tried out DermMatch the other day.

took me about 10 mins. Due to my zits I find it a lil uncomfortable but overall tolerable. I took off the cap and people thought I had a new haircut hairstyle.

im not sure if I can date with it because it’s basically a tint and it runs off your palm when you run you hands thru the hair.

overall I think it’s cool and better than fibers. Especially being able to work the hairline

And I have no family history of hairloss

actually its both areas but i want to say the donor itches because of the healing process
