10 months post op frontal 3rd. hair won’t stay up anymore , too long . when I want to make it look nice I’ll slick it back

Sorry took a few days but here it is. decided to take the pics myself. I don’t see any shock loss anymore . do you? Sometimes you guys see things I don’t but then again I can’t see up close ..bad eyes

In the meantime here are some I found back in November, so around 8months post. I was trying to dye my hair burgundy but it didn’t work on black hair . I’m finally understanding the phrase “illusion of density”

I use minoxidil 1 month after procedure. I don’t do finasteride. I still use minoxidil 1-2 times a day

SO during this time Ive had all the time to think whether or not if i would do it again.. I must say i am glad i went through with it, although i was hoping this was a one shot procedure for me. it is obviously not the case, not realizing or (accepting) my hair loss was a lot worse than what the mirror tells me. I must admit i am still not willing or wanting to take pics of my crown. Looking at the the front tells me i am doing just fine. With that said, I will go in with an open mind for a possible future crown procedure but of course this would not be the time because of financial situation and i really want to give it a few more months to maximize growth or at least hope the meds are actually doing its thing. I am more than 50% content with my current status but I will at least probably get a consultation and see what my options are...I am willing to accept your feedbacks as to whether or not you would get another...if i was any younger i would probably want to be more willing

i will do that, my hair was all slicked up until it got too long and now its tilted down. i am curious what eugenix can do for me? might hit you up on that...they are in India yeah?

haha i am not sure bout Diep discount..he would not knock that $100 off the shot... yes you all mentioned Eugenix ...and yes ive watched many videos ..i might hit up my Indian buddy to go with me some day...i dont have any BHT so that wont work??? = lol, except pubic hairs..

i would have to see how much grafts is needed for the scar. i also thought of pigments on the scar.. in case some day i want a crew cut

last question of the day.. who is the current FUE king for the crown nowadays? still H and W? not sure when we can travel again.. if west coast who is your man? please post your opinions

i hope so because Newsome already said he will extend the stay at home order. Can you comment on the question where if FUE can cover FUT scar? that way maybe kill 2 birds with one stone? fill in crown and cover scar

i guess so, but honestly i am not anal about it. i am not a young cat so some hair loss should be expected. Not a true fan of concealers although Dermatch works amazingly well for me. If i want to dress up one day and go all out i may consider. i still got a full thing of dermatch. i used it 4-6 months but i had a cap mostly. I am still using minoxidil and some topical homemade fin at the crown only

Funny now i always brush my hair back with my fingers/hand lol because i can...i stopped cutting the front and top for 6 months now. i will just let it grow for another 6-12 months. just trimmed it evenly. heck maybe it will be long enough a bit of the crown too haha

not sure if i would want another procedure or be content at 50. If i get FUE can it cover up the FUT scar too?

Added one more . All is good until the very back where I see a lot of scalp. oh well. I just turned 50 so I’m guessing it’s not bad looking for being 50. funny story I tried to dye my hair burgundy and it didn’t work because of my dark hair. I went to the salon and told the salon gal it didn’t work. she said yes it worked your hair is all black, I said this is my regular color 😡😡😡 knock on wood , at my age it can grey any minute 😂

Well folks I apologize for not being on lately. Just going through tough times . I’m sure I’m not the only one here are some 9 months update. in short, the front top and sides are amazing as I see it. it’s just the crown that I’m not happy with. Although I see growth but I don’t think it’ll be much better. all in all I don’t regret the decision to get the procedure. In fact I haven’t been able to hand brush my hair back or style the front until now. if only they were able to extract more to fill the crown. It’s crazy but in my bathroom LED white lighting the back looks great. But reality in regular lights it’s obviously showing a lot of scalp. The front however I could not be more pleased. more to come and feedbacks welcome

5 months in. cant say I’m ecstatic. I have seen better 5 months results . I’m looking forward to month 6. I haven’t given up. Still using minoxidil and recently homemade minoxidil + finasteride . thinking about a possible Addition 6 month amnio injection if it doesn’t improve. Here is hoping for more coverage so I can at least do a freakin comb over of the crown... but I swear it does look better in person than under the camera... why is that?

Comes to about $5 per. i didn’t want multiple surgeries. FUE would require 2 sittings. i simply don’t think I wanted to go through it...and I hear FUT supposedly has better yield..but not so sure the guys that have done FUT told and showed me their scar and is undetectable . but would I ever do it again? No . i would probably do FUE the next go if I ever would go back to the table and try to cover up the scar in the process. if you want or need advice I’d suggest you create a thread, tell them about your history and post pics ... most people here are helpful.. you’ll always have a couple of dipshits here and there but 90% + here are good people.. if you need larger grafts amount people lean FUT but the technology is getting better and better where some clinics can do a shitload in one day (FUE) that would be an ideal choice

I’m beginning to believe Dermatch is the way to go as far as concealers ..it took me about 3 mins , having Quite a bit of existing hairs definitely help. A friend asked today if I did something to my hair... I never told him about the HT so I just sent him a link to dermatch . Although I still do not believe you should start dating without telling her about it, best come clean. I do have a question for the community, has anyone heard of Minoxidilmax? They sell topical finasteride and seemed to have been around for a while. I want to be on finasteride to boost my 4-6 months growth. i started oral finasteride every other day yesterday but feeling skeptical. If minoxidilmax is legit I might just pull the trigger and get on it for the upcoming months. I made my own topical but I’m not sure if it works
