Which products do you use to style your hair in this way?
Hi Sorry for the late reply, the photos are usually just after a haircut so the barber has styled it with wax. Hope that helps

Looks amazing!! Dream hairline, you must be so happy. My only question relates to contact with the clinic. I've had trouble getting a response, any suggestions?
I always use whatsapp and they are pretty fast at replying.

Made an account just to comment, would also appreciate an update. Am booked with Dr Ferreira and have similar recession pattern/hair colour. Your 5 month update already looked incredible, hope it kept thickening up!

Hi Sorry for not updating I keep meaning to but forget.
I will attach pictures from my haircut on the 13/08/2021.
The first 2 are standard as it looks and the rest are in a changing room with very harsh lighting to highlight it is not natural density but to the naked eye on a normal day it looks natural and I am very happy with it so far at 9.5 months
P.S taking photos of donor is hard 🤣
Any questions please ask.- 3

Thanks Everyone for the kind words, will post more pics at 6 months.

Sorry for the delay guys here my 3 month, 4.5 month and today (5 months 10 days).
3 months photos taken outside by my GF which I did not have time to check and are not the best but this was the end of shedding and and a small amount of growth of hairs that stayed. I stopped shedding after about 1.5-2 months I think.
Attached are 3 month photos.

Did they provide you with a doctor's note to travel and if so, who do you present it too when arriving at the airport? I might be going to see BF very soon and have the same concerns as you did with getting rejected and flying in from America.
Yes they gave me a Drs note but I never needed it as nobody asked me for it, travel went smooth.

Looks good mate but can I ask why you didn’t lower the hairline down to where you have a few of your original hairs there right at the front of the widows Peak? It’s not the ybyiur hairline looks high or anything with what’s been done but surely you would of wanted it as low as you could go? Or was it to do with graft preservation for future? Was it your choice to stay higher or Dr Ferreiras ?
Hi Mate,
I left that bit as my hair in the centre is very low and will recede up a bit over time and lowering it to that level would have used too many grafts and looked silly when I'm older.
Me and the Dr both agreed to leave that bit. I think it makes it look more natural also.
Hope that answers your question.

Yeah, but my native hairs don't stick flat from the aloe so I feel it's something specific to the transplanted hairs. But you're right, I don't it think it's much to worry about. A lot of them are coming out now since I changed the style of drying my hair. Usually I would pat it dry but I now I dry by wiping my towel in circular motions and a lot of the flat hairs and end up being hooked on to the fibres and come off easily. Easier than plucking them one by one and ensures you don't tug on any single one too hard before its ready to come out.
Oh must be they are about to shed then and have mostly been pushed out like you said. Makes sense.
Sucks seeing the hair become less dense don’t it, mines slowly starting to go haha.

That donor is simply amazing, very well spread out. But it looks as if Dr. BF went beyond the safe zone at times, did you ask him regarding this?
Also the recipient looks great at 9 days my friend, many congrats!I did not ask him about that I think he drew his extraction zone with pen and stayed inside that. Every surgeon seems to be different with the zone size.
Also thanks for the kind words.

@Londoner7 Good luck and best wishes on your results. Work looks very clean, similar to other Dr. BF cases that have been posted. Was there a reason you opted not to do temple points?
I also consulted with Dr. BF and ultimately decided to go with HLC. Although in my case that decision was made easier since Dr.BF was uncomfortable operating on me 😩
Good luck with your upcoming procedure.
Dr BF said that at the moment I don’t need the temple points doing as I still have some.
I may get them done in the future if they go but at the moment I am happy with them.

Post-Up Week 3
Guys, help me out here, I think i'm going a paranoid. Shedding around 50 hairs a day from the recipient area, no biggie, sheds are expected. But, a lot of the recipient grafts have suddenly started laying flat (see the close up below) around the same time the shedding started.. Before they were facing up as normal if you compare with my close up from last week.
Is this a normal part of shedding?
Best guess I can think of is that the graft has shed, but the hair hasn't been pushed out enough to fall off. But since it has 'detached' it no longer has the strength to support itself and falls down under pressure such as when wet or aloe applied. Maybe they'll get pushed out later and fall off in due time?
Thoughts?
I see some of mine sticking flat but I thought it was due to the alo vera as after i apply it my hair is stuck down from in so assumed it dried and some hair stay stuck. But anyway we both have this so im sure its normal.

Damn, looks super clean. Is it true that he used finer singles in the very front as @Rolandas suggested?
I think so but I can not say for definite as I never asked that question to the Dr. But I am pretty sure it is the case.

Looks good man! Donor looking impeccable once again 1 day post-op (especially central donor area). There's definitely something to his skills since everyone i've seen so far has the donor look pretty good afterwards from him!
Thanks Mate hoping we both have knockout results

Dr. Ferreira’s work always looks so perfectly refined from beginning to end. I always enjoy seeing his cases. Thanks for posting and Congrats! I look forward to your end result. People will be able to tell you and your brother apart by your hairlines now! Lol
Thanks lol

Great write up and of course amazing hairline. I'm always impressed by Dr. Ferreira's hairlines as you can clearly see finer singles in the very front. Not many places are actually taking the time to find those finer singles!
I had some fibrin build up after surgery as well, so been spraying a lot of saline (pretty much every 20 min) for the first2 days
48 microns is definitely fine hair. I had 50/51 (just to give you an idea). Average hair/graft is really impressive. This should give you a great density!
Next few months will be with no change after shedding is finished, so grow some patients and focus on other things in life. Once day you'll be surprised to see some movement happening in there!
Thanks Rolandas, yeah its gonna be a slow couple of months but hopefully by summer I have a nice hairline.

Oh that is interesting 🤔 do you have similar hair loss ?
No he had the temple recession but also midscalp going and I think he had a few grafts in his crown. He had over double mine but Asmed do like to go on the higher side of graft numbers I believe, Dr Erdogan examined my hair whilst i was there and quoted me 3000 grafts for hairline reconstruction which I thought at the time was a bit much.
-
Also forgot to mention my twin brother had his hair transplant in 2018 at Asmed and I went with him, since then it has slowly built up my desire to have one, luckily my hair loss was less I think I got more of my mums side as the males have no hair loss but our dads side does. his user name is @Jammerz if any1 is interested to look.
