  1. close ups attached first procedure of about 420 grafts to as of now - as you can see a lot of the hairs failed to regrow. I also see other people posting where some hairs have grown but I feel even their results are not satisfactory Can any surgeons or representatives say that results should be similar to that on the head, e.g. similar regrowth rate? I just feel there is false hope not only by viewing my results but many across the internet. I would say I've only come across a couple of good results while the rest are average to not good at all
  2. Well ideally I’d want the actual photos from the clinic but they have given their reason not to although I don’t believe it You said it didn’t have to be a close up so that’s good with me because I have no mood to take photos of the eyebrows darker hairs are native hairs and towards the end you can see the transplanted hairs and if you zoom in then you can see clear skin the first procedure covered a lot of area so imagine the current height and it being 2.5-3 times the height it is now then that is when I say completely no hairs regrew last procedure covered an area closer to the existing eyebrow, imagine the height being from the front on the left eyebrow (right in the photo) So you can see no regrowh above the existing lines of hairs The front of the right eyebrow (left in photo) actually had new hairs grow in but the other eyebrow he hairs didn’t grow in as much and angled forward rather than up the main concern for me however wss the arch which was missing completely and what I have are ten at most hairs right on the tail but you can see clear skin between the hairs right at the end at my native hairs. Apart from a couple of hairs in between there has been orettty much no regrowth of the transplant hairs also hairs on the eyebrow transplant appear better front looking because they grow straight and not right against the skin which is why I was instructed to massage in the direction of the growth but some hairs will inevitably end up straight/bendy and if anyone was to look from the side view then one can see more clearly te lack of hairs and the fact 90%+ of the grafts did not regrow overall or in that section. I do call this a fact because I know how many hairs were transplant by good approximation to get a true reflection I need the photos taken from the clinic but I guess from a business perspective they won’t share unless it’s a positive outcome no complaints on the care I got from the surgeons as they were kind and helpful but it didn’t work out as expected and as I said originally it could well be down to me but clinics do lack transparency If my clinic says it might be due to lack of blood supply then what frustrates me with that comment is that I’ve seen some results where people with scar tissue having decent regrowth as one video on YouTube for dr Lorenzo Dauer and Epstein also have good results - yes I know some negative reviews are around but I’m just saying best case examples and all three use a lot more grafts for their work do that may account for more hairs regrowing i did personally email a highly respected person (non surgeon) on this and other forums and he said eyebrow transplants are unpredictable or words to that effect. Unfortunatetly the clinic gave the same expectations as a scalp hair transplant.....
  3. Hi i did request late last year to have the photos taken at the clinic to be emailed to me but I was informed that they couldn’t send because of the security restrictions with attachments but not to make out that was the excuse in case I was mistaken then the only other thing would be data protection in not being able to send medical photos via email. I know a photo taken by myself won’t be that great as it won’t shlw the before/after but just show how my eyebrows look now...
  4. Hi do you have crusting or very small specks of dry skin? i had hairs implanted around the eyebrows and it’s still an issue for me after 7 years. You know when you wake up and get dry skin around the eyes well I also get small specks of dry skin between the area of the top eyelid and below my eyebrows but I don’t ever recall having such issues before my initial procedure and I get dry skin not only around the transplanted hairs but on areas of skin below the eyebrow the problem is just made worse when I do exercise then the dry skin builds up and gets soggy so by rubbing it off the skin just spreads it some kind of shampoo or moisturised will help but don’t be fooled that the shampoo is making it worse because i felt that at first but it’s actually helping to lift it off the skin and also do not scratch or rub it off as the dry skin would come back
  5. Hi, in my teenage years I made a mistake of removing my bushy eyebrow hair and since then I’ve been left with small eyebrows lacking an arch. in 2011 I had my first procedure with 200+ hairs per eyebrow to cover a masculine shaped area The experience was smooth although I had some issues with dry skin not going away. Small specks of dry skin around the hairs then would get soggy when moist or after exercise. My hairs didn’t really start shedding till week 5 and after 2 months I still had a few hairs which I massaged out so I could focus on regrowth and dry skin issues. unfortunately the majority of hairs didn’t grow back and hairs that didn’t fall out continued to grow: one eyebrow had hairs grow at the front of the eyebrow but overall that was the main and only noticeable area of growth. a year later I had a touch up (150 hairs in total )but focusing on a smaller area but still with good shape. The areas where hair took were mostly within current hairs and again no growth on the arch. Only a few hairs (10 at most ) were at the end of the tail so I still had a gap between my native hairs and with the few hairs on the tail. 2 years later I had my final touch up (slightly less than the 2nd procedure) thinking I didn’t take enough care after my second transplant and once again the hairs didn’t take. I live in the UK and I had no confidence looking at the results online except for two surgeons in the US hence why I persisted with the same clinic because I felt the proedecure itself wasn’t the best in terms of results because I wasn’t enthused by the majority of photos and felt it was a big risk to go to the US and having a possibility of having the same outcome. i felt I probably got around 8-10% growth of hairs which I would say we’re hairs that didn’t shed. That’s why on my second procedure I was too cautious with washing the grafts because in my mind the hairs that would grow would be those that didn’t shed at all. Going back to the clinic I had to mention the poor growth in order to look at reasons why. I feel others should take note that a clinic won’t mention anything negative unless you bring it up yourself and only then they would discuss ways of improvements so that is one criticism I have is the clinic will look at mentioning the number of hairs that have grown back even when very low and put a positive spin on it (checkup after my first procedure) and checkup last year there was a mention of how many hairs to transplant for a 4th prrcodure without discussing beforehand the low regrowth... Blood supply was mentioned and that more blood would be in areas where there is already hair. Although I feel there is truth in that it still shouldn’t account for less than 10% regrowth as I have a fair amount of eyebrow hairs but really missing on the arch so I would have expected a few hairs closer to the naive hairs to still take in and it wasn’t densely packed and I didn’t suffer any shock loss. So the question is I guess is should one expect 90% regrowth or can this be compared to a scalp transplant because I feel the photos show very mixed results. also I found doctor Jose Lorenzo and his results in scarred tissues were very successful so it makes me wonder how someone with scarring can have very good results while my results are poor. I’ve always had naturally thick black hair due to my ethnicity and the clinic were stumped as to the poor growth as they felt I was an ideal candidate and I have no underlying medical conditions as the eyebrow hairs were missing because of my actions. i don’t wish to say which clinic it is because it could well be down to me rather than the skills of the clinic itself but I felt I had to give my experience if others were looking at this kind of procedure thank you
