I would also like to transplant my hair at Eugenix. but i found out that dr arika transplants up to 400 hairs and the rest is done by the technicals. was that ok for you? did you feel that the quality was high?
Not really. No matter who does your hair transplant its a team effort. the Eugenix team has been putting out quality results as a whole.

how long did you wait for the surgery? was the waiting list long?
Nope! it also was at the height of Delta out break so maybe that affected their timing.
I was talking to them told them what month I wanted and they obliged.

Looking good. What guard are your sides/back in the latest pics?
im not sure tbh. i gave myself a fade from no guard to a #2. that was before Christmas so i had a lot of growth.
Thanks!

I'll never understand why clinics don't spread out their extraction sites more? I hate when they keep it in a confined area like that and you end up seeing a halo in the area.
I agree with this one, I thought the extraction process would more scientific.

I would say 15-20 mintues. really was quick. she gave me an initial, I suggested it be somewhat more recessed and that we fill in the temples as well. she agreed and drew it to my liking

Was there any reason why the midscalp was left untouched? Since you had as much thinning there as in the crown.
Hairline looks good, crown will take longer to see.
I was tight on funds and vacation time. if i did the midscalp it may have cost too much. Looking back now I could've afforded it lol im very conservative with money.
Yep i agree! ill probably go back for a touch up anyways as long as im happy with the result

Hey Everyone!
Finally got my Hair transplant done at Eugenix and would like to share my 5 month update.
Quick over view for people that dont know.
1-14 days post op is healing and waiting to be able to wash your scabs of (Eugenix tells you to at 10 days)
14 days begin shedding
1 Month, completely shed and red
2 months, nothing
3 months, nothing (unless you are lucky)
4 months should start regrowth
that's usually the timeline I'm sure someone will try and debate me on it though.
As far as review of the clinic everything went well. traveling during covid (all the documents, testing etc.) was the worst part. besides that everything went smoothly. only thing I want to add is that Eugenix is a value clinic. I was treated with a lot of care and respect but just note they are there to do a job and like the ball to roll fast. other than that i have no comments everything was perfect.
I tried to take everything in either harsh/different lighting to get a good contrast but im still growing so i don't think it makes too much of a difference. once its complete ill do the same and show the difference.
Question how does the last picture look? that is the right side donor area and i think it may either have shockless or have been over harvested, what are your thoughts?
My breakdown was
1670 Front
470 Crown
Right temple 48
Left 50
Me before fin (22 years old)
Post Fin (24-25 yrs)
I dont think I had much regrowth with fin but I definitely had my hairs thicken.
During HT
1 Month
3 Months
4 Months - Where the fun Starts
5 Months
I am no where near done yet but this is a great start!
Thanks everyone

Looks very good at this early stage. You need to wait at least 6 months (sometimes longer) for the donor area to fully recover.
That would be brutal hopefully not lol

Honestly not too bad, it looked worse when I shaved it to a 1 guard. Definitely has gotten better in the last few weeks @Melvin- Moderator

Hello Everyone,
I had a hair transplant at eugenix around 4 weeks ago. my donor is definitely experiencing some sort of shock loss. They also took the hairs, 2200 graft, from what I would consider to be a relatively small donor zone.
I have no problem waiting until I raise a flag to the clinic, however I am wondering how long should I wait? I was thinking 2 months?
Thoughts?
Thanks Wicky

once you get on finasteride you should wait at least a year. Personal story: was going to get a HT with Rahal and than was told i need to be on finasteride to get one. got on and waited a year and my hair looks really good after it. still getting a HT though just at Eugenix instead. please got on fin and give it a year.

Hello,
I'm trying to get there beginning of august. I just applied for an E-visa, hopefully it works! I was talking to someone at the Chicago consulate to get me a Visa and they were giving me a firm 'No'.
Hopefully this way works

My 2 Cents
1 - Try fin out before anything. Me and a lot of my friends were all scared of the side effects like you are. After years no ones has had any and we wish we would've started sooner!
2 - Try to do FUT first if you really want to max out your donor area. Simple put FUT targets the donor area better than FUE. once your scalp elasticity is down then switch to FUE then BHT.
3 - Look into Eugenix or HLC (its in Turkey and what I believe to be the best in Turkey) for FUE, definitely one of the best bang for your bucks and they both also do BHT which its looking like you will need.
Sorry if im just repeating what others are saying, but this is the course of action I believe to be best for you.

1) Konior
Its hard for me to comment on the rest since they all give great results, however Konior seems to be next level. If price/waiting isnt an issue, Konior would be my go to.
-
I know 'the best' is subjective but I think most people on this forum would give that crown to Dr.Konior in Chicago. If money isnt an issue I would look into him.
