  1. Hello, I am looking to get about 1800 grafts max to really cover my temples and maybe lower the entire frontal hair line, and natural widows peak, by like 0.5 cm. Anyways, I am very scared for the pink scars in the recipient area to be seen as I doubt I could take more than 2 weeks off of work. Anyways, is it possible to get a custom hairpiece, and wear it over the scars for 4 months while the area heals? thanks!
  2. So I too have been thinking of a Rahal transplant for 4 years now, I essentially just want to fill in my temples and maybe a bit in the front of the widows peak, like lowering it from say an 8-head to 7.5-head (think of 4-head 4 fingers) - its the temples that really bug me most! and people still will know I have a big forehead, which is fine, I just HATE my temples so badly, its makes styling impossible each morning, and when I wear the hair-line hairs downward towards my eyes I could likely change the 7-head into something that's close to a 4-head, which is good enough for me!
  3. I am wondering why you say more bang for the buck with FUT, thanks!
  4. Wow so fades to pink in 5 months! darn that is a long time...too long for me, for someone who wants to get hairline lowered by 1800 or so grafts. I wonder if its possible to wear like a hair system over the pink areas for 4 to 5 months?
  5. Interesting, I have been holding it for about 5 or 6 years - no balding or loss for me, just a really stupid annoying hairline/temples. After being made fun of by my 5 year old patient yesterday, then looking in the mirror...really just hit me (for the hundredth time at least)
  6. Very interesting, can I ask like would the recipient area be very noticeable for a long time? I can get just 2 weeks off from work and maybe it would hide a bit of scars?
  7. Which doc are you going to? are you certain about that or maybe it was assumed?
  8. Yea that is quite a good point, a bit disheartening for sure but might be the reality of it.
  9. Hmm which doctor though? maybe it was implied or assumed? might want to double check
  10. Hello, My question is if its possible to undergo the procedure, likely a FUE, to receive about 1200 grafts on the frontal hairline without having to buzz cut the entire head? I have been debating this question for a while now and haven't seen any topics about this through google at least. My reasoning is I do NOT want anyone to know I had this procedure done, and I cannot escape from work and family for like 6 months while some hair grows back after a buzz cut. Can a surgeon still remove enough hair from the back and transfer it to the hairline without having to buzz it all? thanks!
