  1. Hi mattj Thanks for the reply. I'm actually planning on a buzz cut tomorrow. Absolutely had it with the combover. I'm abit concerned that I won't be getting enough coverage and honestly it's my crown that's my biggest fear tho I'm pretty sure I'm thin all over. Will update once I've cut my hair. It's gonna be a major change considering I've never had it that short before. Wish me luck!
  2. Hi Bill, i've scheduled a procedure with Dr Bhatti, i have sent him these photos as well and hopefully we can come to a consensus about the number of grafts i require. honestly i can't tell if its made any difference to be honest. i tend to think its worse off but that could just be me being pessimistic as usual.
  3. HI bill thanks for the reply, i am on propecia for the past 8 months. i wouldnt say thats its made any significant difference to be honest as i am still losing hairs here and there. i have spoken to a surgeon and will be travelling for a procedure in a few months. they have been quoting me 2.5k grafts which i am pretty sure will not be enough which is why i have decided to ask you lovely folks. 4K was the number i was thinking, not really looking for major density considering the size of the area needed to cover but 2.5k seems really small i'm planning on cutting it all off in the next couple of days as i am honestly sick of the combover bs. will probably start on minoxidil once a day after that since i wont be too worried about the shed after i buzz it. and i will definitely be posting my full hair transplant journey on this site to keep everyone informed
  4. Hi everyone, Quick question for the good folks out here. I'm a diffuse thinner currently planned for a hair transplant in 2 months I'd like your opinions for how many grafts I'd need for coverage. Currently on finasteride and nizoral. Will start minoxidil after my ht as I don't want to deal with the shed for now All input is much appreciated
  5. hey HTN gurus, i am posting some pics of myself with wet hair and blow dried hair. would like some advice as to my norwood class and how many grafts i would need for good coverage. i sport longer hair so that i can cover up the balding but i am sick of doing that. do kindly advise me as i have had differing reports from 2 local HT surgeons that i visited. one claims i am a norwood 4 almost a 5 and another says i am a 2 almost a 3. both feel 2000 grafts should be enough but i'm pretty sure thats not gonna be enough. i am a total amateur so i'd like some advice from you seasoned veterans cheers this is when i part the hair
  6. Hey itxrd, I have seen multiple reviews by Dr bhatti but I've had a bad transplant prior so felt that I might just ask and see what ppl think. I actually read yr experience as well and the post op pics look good. Was wondering hows it coming along?
  7. Hey bill! thanks for the quick response. i actually have contacted him and am trying to finalise a date. PS have u heard anything about medilinks in delhi? they have this new procedure that they developed stating that the downtime for the grafts from harvesting to implantation is less than 5 mins? that seems really promising to be honest as graft death must be significantly reduced?
  8. Hi there people, i'm a year long hair restoration network stalker and 1st time poster. i have been considering having a hair transplant with dr tejinder bhatti. from what i have gathered, he is a world class hair transplant surgeon. Problem is, there hasn't been many recent reviews on his work compared to a few years ago. I honestly dont have an issue if its just the patient experience that is lacking as long as the results are top notch. Do kindly let me know if you guys think i should proceed with Dr Bhatti or keep looking around. Thanks guys!
