Thanks, @OliverAtom
Appreciate you. This patient conducted his follow-up with Dr. Arocha after he moved away - so I believe he had a family member or a friend take these images. It was nice to see the visible improvement post-tp!

@FailedFUE I sent you a message! Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Thanks for creating this, Al!

Thank you gentlemen for taking the time to view and comment on our beard restoration case. What Dr Arocha likes about this case is that it demonstrates the difference that one month makes in the evolution of a hair restoration outcome. The moustache/goatee were done 6 months prior, the cheek/sideburn area only 5 months ago. So while he looks good already the earlier procedure is ahead in growth. We are happy for the patient and looking forward to his full grown in result!

I wanted to share something a bit different today. This patient had an FUE Beard Transplant over two sessions. During his first session, Dr. Arocha worked on the mustache and goatee area. A month later, the patient came back in for his second session, where Dr. Arocha worked on the sides. He had approximately 1,269 grafts in the first session and 1,249 grafts during his second FUE. After images were taken 6 months after the first procedure and 5 months after his second procedure. He's still got some growing to do but has some great growth already.

@Melvin- Admin - Dr. Arocha did not take any with the hair clipped up, but we have something better: a part-width examination across the top. Remember, this is early on - at 8 months post-procedure. In these images, you can see an improvement in density.

I think it would be good to show the hair clipped up in the post-op picture.
Thanks, Melvin,
Next time the patient comes back in, we will have Dr. Arocha use the same clip to take photos!

Nice result for only 2590 grafts.
Thank you! We appreciate the kind words!

Al-formerly BeHappy,
That is a wise position. Remember that the hair undergoing miniaturization in the temples, is under the influence of DHT. Hence, the anagen growth phase is progressively cut shorter. The caliber becomes progressively finer, creating caliber mis-match between the local remaining hair and the not affected transplanted hair. So I usually prefer to use smaller number of grafts, one hair, and the finer hairs available. This is imperative to create softer, and less dense results in the temples that can withstand the test of time.
All the best,
Bernard Arocha, MD, Diplomate ABHRS, Fellow ISHRS

This patient underwent a 2507 graft FUT procedure with Dr. Arocha to enhance his hairline and frontal region. The after images were taken 3.5 years after his original procedure. The patient moved away, and he self-submitted his after images to our clinic, which is why they are shown with a different background.

Do you have any pictures of the graft placement? I'd really like to know how many grafts went into the temple points if that's possible to know.
@Al - formerly BeHappy Dr. Arocha transplanted about 200 grafts on the right, and 150 grafts on the left side.
-
Thank you, all. @Al - formerly BeHappy I've asked Dr. Arocha how many grafts were placed in the temples and should have an answer for you shortly. In the meantime, I'll see if I can pull a photo of graft placement!

This patient, with fine hair, came in to see Dr. Arocha. He was a Norwood 3, and he wanted to restore his hairline and increase his density. Dr. Arocha did a 1600 graft FUE procedure. The after images were taken one year after his procedure.

@BaldV chiming in here to confirm that @steeeve is not a paid advertiser for our clinic. In fact, Dr. Arocha does not believe in paying patients to generate reviews on Google, the hair transplant network - or anywhere.

For me they are not the best quality pics, they don't appear to be particularly high definition and the lighting appears to be quite dark. Just giving constructive criticism here, don't want to offend.
No offense taken. I appreciate the feedback. I've asked Melvin what we can do to sharpen in the future. When I click on the images to enlarge them, they appear very clear on my screen, but I understand this might not be the case for everyone.

I'm curious as to why the images are blurry...?
They aren't showing up blurry on my end. But, let me check with Melvin to double check there isn't an issue with the new way I'm presenting the images. Sorry if that's happening for you.
