  1. Man, looks great. Seeing so many of these Eugenix transplants makes me wonder why folks choose anyone else, outside of the India part (being so far). Curious. If the beard area is used for the transplant, any issues with close shaves after the fact as it relates to visible scars in the area? if you get some sun do you end up with chute spots where the transplanted grafts were (like a spotty tan)?
  2. Thanks, any pics of the scar area say 2-3 weeks post op and how long did you have to keep the back (and sides if it went up the sides) your hair to conceal it?
  3. Wow, a lot of redness still after 3 months. Is that fairly typical? That's one of the things scaring me about getting this done! Are there any creams, liquids, etc. that can help reduce this? E.g. read on this site somewhere about distilled witch hazel?
  4. Seem to be having lots of issues with this site and getting ... "The http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com'>http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com'>http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com'>http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com page isn’t working http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500" When I try to get to my Private messages page. Had the same issues yesterday trying to login. Anyone else experiencing this? Odd.
  5. A few other questions: 1. Read somewhere previously that distilled witch hazel may help with redness. Has anyone used this and how/when do you apply? 2. Is it recommended to start finasteride to maintain remaining hairs?
  6. A few reasons: 1. Rahal isn't really known for FUE, and has stated it would take a minimum of two procedures for my hair line and I'd rather do 1. 2. I'd prefer not to travel outside of Canada for the procedure 3. Don't want to shave my entire head.
  7. Thanks ... humorously it looks like we are both wearing the same red shirt in our pre photo as well. Ha. Your results look great btw!
  8. Hair line they are recommending would be "conservative", and focus on density at the front filling in zones 1-7.
  9. Hi All, Started looking into this way back in July/Aug. In my early 40's, have been losing my hair gradually since my mid-20's. Didn't think much of it until recently as I've either started losing at a faster pace, or have lost enough that each additional strand now "shows" much more and am thinking about it a lot. Wife is fine with it, just not sure I like it at all. Have been researching HT for a while, and have been encouraged with what I've seen. Went to see Dr. Rahal's physician in Toronto a while back and was given a plan for ~4,500 grafts (depending on final donor health, etc) and FUT which I would prefer to FUE. Cost isn't much of a concern. I am changing jobs shortly, and believe I can negotiate upwards of 3-4 weeks from HT surgery date to start date at work. So enough to get past the scar stage I guess? Concerns are multiple: 1. Obviously the embarrassment of the first 3-6 months or more post op, what do I say to the folks at work, my extended family (who will not be supportive and I'm sure find it narcissistic) 2. Any way to reduce redness of the area which in some cases I see can last months 3. "Botch" jobs ... I think Rahal is quite good, not sure how many have experienced negative cases with him? Has anyone seen postings of this? 4. The back of my hair is usually cut down to I think what would be considered a 2 or 3. My stylist uses scissors. Concerned about the scar showing for long periods of time and how good Rahal is at closing the scar. I know most of these can't really be definitively answered. Maybe I'm just looking for opinions, support, etc! Let's see if I can post some pics or if there is a minimum post count. Thanks!
