EDIT: Is the "bad angling" happening during the incisions part or the "filling" part? Because on the former it was the surgeon who did it and the later was a technician.

Who was your surgeon? Have your beard or chest been used as donor? If this is the case, can it be that what you feel as different direction is just other type of hair?

Having had 2 HTs, I wouldn't have liked to have my face covered during such a long operation. I belive though your medical concerns are valid.

you won't see too much difference between first and the second month. Grow start from 4th month on really. I think you would judge better if you had photos of 6 or 7th month.

It is almost a year now. Can you post some of your recent photos please? How is the result? Are you happy ?

Your donor looks a scock-loss to me which can happen when more than 3500 grafts have been extracted. I had similar situation . It became better on the 8 th month. Have you contacted dr.  Cinik ? Using finasterid and minoxidil might help.
