  1. @Sean thank you very much brother. big big big help from you guys. Love you all and wish u all the best
  2. Mustang u should do a review of all the clinics u visited bro haha
  3. Thanks bro. The thing is, I don’t like to be worked on by techs even tho I know they work very good in feriduni s Office
  4. Damn bro I’m really sorry for that. I can feel your pain. Not being happy three surgeries would make me totally angry and turn me to a monster. there are only two doctors I would trust in this case now. either go to doctor konior or go to dr Zarev. your Next surgeon should be your last surgeon!
  5. @Ajamilo hey Brother, i thought about that too but I’m against it as well. I would rather let my hair grow longer over there. but yes I guess he is right. We should use every hair for the hairline and midsclap and crown. maybe one day we have cloning and we can correct the overharvesting. can I ask you, how you contacted the clinic?
  6. @Sean where do u live bro? i don’t take finasteride because I will not support it. Even if it is effective. As long as we use it, they will continue producing it and don’t look for better alternatives. But that’s another topic. I just looked at your pictures of your surgery. You only made one surgery right? With dr rahal? Did he even use nape hair for you? i think it has to be a mix of nape hair and scalp hair. I don’t think That only nape hair alone will be effective, that’s why I don’t want to remove all the grafts from my hairline. It has to be a mix of both. Scalp hair plus nape hair. I mean just let’s take some facts! Fact nr 1. dr konior uses nape hair and he creates in my opinion the most beautiful hairlines. Fact nr 2. @mustang used nape hair for his hairline and they survived plus he used some of those also for scars, where it is even more challenging than in other parts. His growth was above 95%. Fact nr 3. Dr Zarev used chest hair, for a patient with pseudopelade of brocq and created amazing results. Around 65% survived cause some of them were in telogen phase. But the results he achieved looks better than what most surgeons achieved with scalp hair. Besides that, his patient aren’t even prescribed finasteride or minox! This is a very important fact here because when i watch the Spain doctors videos, almost all of them get prescribed finasteride pre and post surgery. This will change the outcome of the surgery. @Sean I don’t know what happened to you. Would be nice if you could tell me. But u don’t have to give up hope because with time new methods came which maybe give guys like us the chance to use nape or bht with good survival Rates
  7. @Sean i add a picture of my nape so u can see how much they are. I shave them every week away cause they even go and connect to my beard 😂
  8. @Sean thank you brother. Hope things turn fine for you. But why are u rejecting body hair? I can understand that about leg hair. Because most 40, 50 year old men lose their leg hair. But nape hair is still another thing. Those hair in some men will last forever.
  9. @Melvin-Moderatorthank you brother. I will check on that for sure. @mustang perfect. That’s what I wanted to hear bro. Do you think I have to remove a lot of the plugs? And what do you guess, how many grafts I’m gonna need from my nape for the hairline?
  10. @Melvin-Moderatoryes I think I should start with the hairline. I have a lot of nape hair. My father has also a lot till today. I think it’s not Universal to say nape hair will fall out, as you mentioned about safe zone in another thread. btw thank very much Melvin for your endless help towards me and everybody else in this forum.
  11. @Melvin-Moderator mit just appears like that on the pictures cause my Is a bit longer over there plus wavy. If I don’t use a low fade style the scars are visible plus empty areas over there. Dr konior told me to use nape hair to soften the hairline that’s why I have this thing in mind and I believe in this strategy. Plus I can’t remove all the grafts in the hairline because It will lead to scaring! I just think that I should remove like 30% of those mupltiple grafts and replace them by softer hair or what do you think about this idea? @BLE123 I drew those lines one year ago because at that time I thought I just put the hairline some mm lower and just use finer hair to cover the multiple grafts
  12. Im confused @Melvin-Moderator on the one hand I get very depressed when a barber mess up my fading at the back of my head and the scars get visible. on the other hand it’s almost not visible with a correct haircut. for now I would much rather have a better natural hairline and more density in my mid scalp. But I don’t want to use any donor from the back of my head. I would prefer using beard hair or maybe chest hair (second option) and some of the triple grafts on the hairline. But I want then at least to have the nape hair replacing the hairline and those hairs extracted from there. U get what I mean? And till now I haven’t seen any doctor using nape hair but Mwamba in @mustangcase
  13. Yes Melvin you are right. I should ask as many as I can. I like dr bisangas work as well. The only thing is, that I want a doctor who can also manage to repair my donor scars with bht like @mustangdid. I really love the work done for him.
  14. And what if I go a bit lower with the hairline so that those pluggy hair will be behind the new hairline? Yes your are right with the fact that beard hair should be used for the midscalp. On the other hand my beard hair texture is the same as my hair texture. Both are wavy. On the other hand it would be no problem for me to use my scalp donor for the hairline but then I would still want my donor scars to be treated with bht like @mustang did.
  15. Because: 1. my hair loss got quit stable. 2. I don’t want to mess up my hormones. 3. I took propecia over a year and i don’t want to use it anymore nor I want to talk it bad.
  16. Hello Melvin, i live in Germany. Dr Freitas was just an option because I liked his hairlines. But to be honest, Freitas and couto have patients who are willing to take propecia and Minoxidil post treatment, which I would not like to use. Plus most of their results show the result of a hair transplant plus minox plus propecia, so u almost never know what really happened after the implantation.
  17. I understand bro. I wish u you all all all all the best. Hopefully some new techniques will come in near future
  18. BTW, I took also dr Freitas into consideration, but I don’t know If he works with bht transplants. I saw in a post that he used about 200 beard hair for one patient but that’s all I found
  19. I thought the same bro but I heard that the 50% are only rumors. Mustang says, that you can have above 90% with a highly skilled surgeon. Just check up his posting
  20. I understand brother. But as I would recommend you, it would be better if you transplant the chest hair into the depleted donor area and take donor hair from the scalp to the desired scalp area. why? Because I guess the chest hair would only reach a specific length and are mostly single grafts so that they can at least cover the scars a bit. You know what I mean bro?
  21. Dear community, first of all I want to thank you guys for your sympathies and help, you give to hopeless and depressed people. I had a hair transplant 5 years ago, in the cheapest clinic in turkey. Back then, I just had finished the first year of my study and I was a poor student, who loved to have a low hairline. So I grabbed all my money, borrowed some money and went for the cheapest clinic in turkey. Now, 5 years later I just finished my study and hopefully I can start working next month. The first thing I’m gonna do with my money, is going to have a second hair transplant and correct what I did wrong, when I was a dumb student. My hairline is quit low, as I like it but it looks very unnatural due to bad angles and 3-4 hair grafts which were used. The hair on the top of my head had some recession over the year but it’s not that bad, considering I never had so much hair over there. My testosterone levels are high because I train very extremely, twice daily on some days of the week also. That’s why I guess that my hairloss is stabilized somehow. I used propecia for 1 year, 3 years ago. I had some regrowth. I didn’t had many side effects but it didn’t work good with my training regimen, so I stopped. This time I did my math. I almost checked every picture and video available on the internet. Every forum, every website, every single comment! I did not only looked at the before and after pictures itself, but also at the lightening and Position of the patients because this two factors play a major. I think most of you know that, too. I don’t want to make smp and I also dont want to deplete my donor anymore. Maybe when I’m old but not now. The strategy I have in mind is, to restock my donor area with bht. I have a good amount of beard under my chin and a lot of chest and abdomen hair. I also want to correct the hairline. For this I need to use my nape hair, which I have plenty of, too. Why nape hair? The only surgeon I contacted one year ago was dr Konior. What a nice human being!! He helped me with a lot of information but suggested me to search for a surgeon in Europe, because I live in Germany and Chicago would be a big challenge. I agreed. Still he gave me the Info, that my nape hair can help to create a more natural hairline. I saw that dr umar uses body hair and nape hair to create a more natural hairline, which indeed looks natural. There ain’t a lot of nape transplant pictures available, but for me it makes sense! Even though, those hair my fall out one day. Right now, the surgeon who I prefer, is dr Mwamba. I saw in a post, that he used bht and nape hair to repair a depleted donor area. Plus, I saw no signs of scars in the nape nor the beard under the chin. A lot of you mention dr feriduni, dr lupanzula and dr bisanga for repair work. Unfortunately, I didn’t see anyone of them using bht and nape hair to repair the donor and create a more natural hairline. Correct me please if I overlooked something. Another doctor, who I take into consideration, is dr Zarev. One of his results, is done with chest hairs and it looks amazing. I will attach you my pictures, which I also sent to dr konior one year ago, and would like to here your opinion. Please take in mind, that you can’t see the scars in the back of my head because I always take a haircut to hide them, specially cause I have wavy hair, which helps as well. My temples are naturally full, which means I won’t need any hair implanted there. I think you will see which hairs is implanted and which are not. If you like you can check my other post, which I made 5 years ago after the surgery, when I was afraid of the shock loss, so you can see where all started. I still don’t know, if the triple quadruple hair grafts in my hairline have to be extracted and reimplanted somewhere else or new grafts should be implanted some mm below the hairline to hide it. Would be very nice to here your opinion.
  22. Hey Doron, I went 5 years ago to the same clinic and experienced the same pain. My body shaked when i received the anesthesia and I felt that I’m almost feinting. I see that your implanted hair didn’t even grew out. Mine did luckily. But I have also scars on the back of my head. It’s not that much like yours but it’s still very visible when i have a short hairstyle. Did you take into consideration to repair also your donor area? With bht for example?
  23. Thank you very much guys. I feel much better now haha I did the op in turkey and when i sended them pictures from my hair before the op, they told me that they could use 4000-5000 grafts. How much they really used on that day? I dont know it cause I forgot to ask after the op and cause they told me that everything went perfect and i just wanted to go to the hotel and sleep. I was not that bald but my frontline hairs went back over the years of mistreating my hair. 1st pic - op day 2nd pic - couple days (i would guess 2000 grafts?) 3rd pic - 12 days 4th pic - today Best regards
  24. Thank you very much spex for answering so fast. U took away my worries. I was so afraid because i was reading some stuff on "realself" and some docs wrote that u dont know wether shock loss from the donor area is permanent or temporary. Spex is shock loss in the donor area the fault of unexperienced docs and assistants? Or just a random temporary side effect?
