Thanks for taking the time to watch! Yes you pay for the final graft count, as it is never exact when you are given an online consultation. I have only seen the partial shaving once and it was because it was a very small surgery. I'm sure for surgeries in which they are taking thousands of grafts it would be a lot easier for them and a lot more aesthetically pleasing for you to shave your head!

Sean - I have edited my previous response as things seemingly are starting to change in the donor area, even after 8 months. I don't want to give the impression that permanent shock loss is common and it's certainly doesn't seem like that's the case with me. In fairness I just need to wait until the 18 month cycle is complete.

Sean - Thanks for watching. I have a separate video which I'll post as part of my next video update which shows clearly the patchiness of the donor area. But it should be a consideration to any one thinking about FUE procedures involving a large number of grafts. I think another important factor is the fact i have never taken Finasteride, this might have helped strengthen the hairs in the donor area and prevented some of the shock loss. ***Update: Having had a proper look at the donor area today it appears as though a lot of the patchiness is clearing up slowly, if this was shock loss then it looks like it is slowly being cleared up. I will still update you guys in my next video with what it looked like at the 6.5 months stage.

I will keep you all updated every couple of months with a new video, I'll post the new link on this forum. ersko72 I'm glad my later videos could help, trust me I think every person who has this procedure goes through the same thought processes, particularly around the 3.5-5 month stage where the hair is still coming through. Yaz89 - Yes I hope the crown area will progress a little further but I'm honestly not expecting the perfect result, the Dr. said himself that 1400 grafts is unlikely to cover the entire area that is exposed. Also I will continue to lose my original hair as I am not taking Finasteride, this is my choice and I would rather lose my original hair and get a second surgery in the future.
