Went in for higher density in the existing areas -
Ok guys got my HT done for another 1000 grafts to to my hairline for density increase today Dr bhatti advised to go for 800 grafts but I really wanted to go for 1000 grafts and so he obliged. Another thing has come to light , dr bhatti had given me propecia for 6 month post ht which I only continued for 3 months previously and plus I Have been diagnosed with donor hair miniaturization which all seem have contributed to my previous poor results ! The donor hair miniaturization has gotten me worried though , would be great if you guys good give your advice

Going in for second ht by dr bhatti to touch up the density and hairline He will also homogenize the donor area by harvesting from the untouched areas and the entire scalp Getting it done on the 4th of April hope all goes great ..fingers crossed!

hi guys sorry for the delay as i was out of town and busy. well i went for a consultation and was told that although the donor area was harvested in a different way it happens in certain cases and the surgeon himself has had a result like this and had stopped performing it for the same reason as my case. he said the donor area didn't look too bad and was acceptable as the pics make it look too harsh. but that there was less growth and density at my hairline. at this point i see no other option but to take up dr bhattis offer and go for another HT as i am not very happy with my results! ps: had a haircut and again a stylist asked me about my HT because of the donor area ..is this normal? also do you guys think i should visit another HT surgeon for another opinion? although at this point i am tired of all this and just want to get another HT and be done with it ASAP!

Htsoon, will be going in for consultations next week will keep you guys posted The slightly bloody patch was on the side I slept on by mistake but that is not the side which bothers me It is my right hairline mainly which is lagging behind in density which was receded more than the left even before the HT as you can see in previous pics

Bald36 i did not request the no shave procedure but sinc you brought it up I did wonder at the time why it was performed as I was not charged extra for it since usually they charge inr 20000 extra, I just assumed that since the grafts were less it was convenient and I was happy for it at the time. I guess the doc could spot the recipient area as you can see in the previous pics it looks slightly bloody Dont remember him mentioning anything worrisome about the donor area during consultation seemed like routine

Haha ..Fair enough bald36 but then again residing in India does not automatically mean one is Indian although I see your point but that is not the issue I was really probing , what makes me curious is how byomkesh seems to know so much about my case.

Well Byomkesh i would have replied to you much earlier but half my work has already been done by other "genuine" members of the forum for which i am glad. I feel that i have been quite restrained about my situation ,i have not been making accusations or making assumptions but rather only asking for informed unbiased opinions from other members after all that is what this whole forum is for. However i do not appreciate your attempt to turn the case around and put the blame on me ! Also you accuse me of lying and that there was blood on the sheets and that i am hiding it!!! I have documented everything as it was on the day it happened! And if it was the case that the grafts were dislodged so then maybe the doctor would have pointed it out when he saw the grafts the next day. HOWEVER this issue is NOT RELATED to the side i slept on! your professional take you say?are you a doctor? if not who are you to judge professionally? your sudden and new aggressively defensive post has already raised suspicions. We are not stupid like you say ,the question is who are you trying to fool?! Please dont make another fake profile to post ,there are ways to trace your IP address easily you should know!

Hey wibbles I have sent pics of the HT recipient region but not the donor area yet to other surgeons will be doing that now!

Thanks guys for all your valuable inputs .. I would also like your opinion on the donor site area.. reason being that whenever and wherever I go for a haircut barbers always ask me about the donor area as there are patches of sparseness which they can make out while cutting and comment on it anḍ many can also make out it was a HT. This is even more evident if I cut my hair short as you can see in the pics. I was under the impression that fue would be more concealing towards this compared to fuṭ since the donor grafts would be taken randomly all over. Please advice and correct me if I'm wrong since with the next HT session the donor area would look even more sparse.

Agree with you spidey don't want to lower it more but meant that since it has already been lowered till acceptable limits the hairline should be as natural and dense as posssible till wherever the new hairline had been made previously since there is no turning back now at this stage.

thanks for your reply spidey. Well my hair has been receding very gradually since a long time which i first noticed when i was around 20. I have waited very patiently for more than a decade and finally gone in for a HT now that i am age 34 since i feel the time is right and also my rate of hairloss is acceptable. Also i would like to point out that i have never in all these year taken any preventive medications etc for my hairloss and my hairloss has been at an acceptable gradual rate for me despite their use. I definitely wanted and still do desire a dense hairline which is as low as possible for my case which unfortunately has not turned out as i expected but hopefully will be turned around by dr bhatti in the next session.

Hey guys wanted to update with recent developments. I have received another mail from dr bhatti ,well apparently there had been a mix up with the mail and he mistook it with someone elses who has a similar name . He has kindly offered me a complementary procedure for 1000-1200 grafts to sort out the issue ASAP as he agrees that the results are now final and are not up to the mark. So i guess i will soon be going in again for a second time to get a HT and i hope all turns out well finally! Will keep you guys posted and share updates on the new procedure.

So just got a reply from dr bhaṭṭi : 'Thank you for the update. The result is satisfactory and will improve further till 9-12 months' I don't really feel satisfied actually.. and why would he say that it will improve in next 12 months ..do you guys think it can really improve much now??

Hi Spidey ..i paid approx INR 153000 for 1500 grafts + approx 5000 for aftercare HT kit. airfare, travel and accommodation came around INR 25000 since i stay in India

Guys please advice i have just consulted doctor ****** ****** from Delhi of dr A's clinic who says that corrective surgery would require minimum 1500-2000 grafts depending on density and hairline lowering I wish by fuṭ

I almost prefer my pre HT hairline ! Reason being although it was receded a little I atleast I had a well defined dense hairline that time which could be styled ! But now my centre and right hairline is just plain sparse and I need to cover it with the other transplanted hairs to give definition!!!

Thanks guys for your inputs , I have yet to contact the clinic as I wanted to seek the forums unbiased opinions first . Actually the doctor was advising on 1200 grafts initially but on my insistence agreed on 1500 grafts had I known even this would be inadequate I would have gone for a higher amount ! At this stage i am not too happy with the results as you can see in the attached pics I have random strands of transplanted hairs especially around the centre hairline which are just curling up and falling down my forehead which I PAID for but now would rather have it shaved off as it would look much better cosmetically! I went in for the HT hoping to take care of the hairline completely in one sitting..Now I will have to go for another round of transplants Again to fix the hairline ! why could the doctor not have just gone for a higher density in te first place?!!!! I understand multiple ht are necessary for further loss but if the initial hairline ht is only unsuccessful..This is turning out to be a long and unpleasant journey !
