No thanks, from all of us.

It hasn't dawned on you that perhaps you should post a few pics of your hair/head? We don't need to see who you are - just a visual of your hair loss.
Then we can better help you :-)
Welcome to the forum; you're in the right place

Am I the only one here that doesn't know what 'penultimate' means, lol.
But seriously, good luck. Man your extractions look clean!!

Well done. Great hair quality for a HT as well

My guess is recovery from shock loss. Too early still for new growth. At 3 months I'll do a big update with hi-rez pics :-)
Month 3 is when things got started for me last time...

Hello.
Does Dr. Lupanzula 1) have a good reputation in general 2) have a good reputation regarding hairlines specifically and 3) have good results with FUT? On his website, there are only FUE cases shown as far as I can tell despite him offering both procedures.
Thanks
Hi Trix, he's very highly regarded for FUE (I'd recommend him, and his hairlines are good), but I wouldn't go to him for FUT. Why? Just kinda feels like he "retired from the FUT game" on his website, and reiterated in the above post by Medikemos.
But his FUE results are top notch!

Looks a helluva lot better than early February, eh? The brutal shockloss days of Feb. have now turned into a perfect head of hair. Congrats man...

Looks like you're going to be one of Hakan's successful patients. Congrats

rofl. How many celebrities, athletes, etc. get strip?
Nadal, Lebron, etc. all get FUE. Because strip sucks.
Because they have egos, and are less willing to educate themselves.

Very good result, but just wondering if the patient was interested in addressing his temple points?
-
Nicely work by Dr. Wesley. This is the primary reason I did not consider FUT. I just didn't want to have that linear scar. FUT provides great results but so does FUE with no visible scarring.
I'm not so sure that's an FUT scar?

Very good scar...who did your surgery?
Assuming the OP has had only one HT, his profile says Dr. Hasson :-)
-
Ferko rubbed me the same way he rubbed you. But Hasson and Wong results speak for themselves. I'd save up for them, if I were in your shoes... Money well spent.
It's not the same thing as buying a cheaper set of car tires. This is your head!!

Appreciate the update, but seriously man -- Why not answer hsrp's question about graft count on a young NW2?... Geesh. So frustrating
Good result, as expected of course

Yes it is. Started at about 3 weeks post-op. Last time it filled back in at about 2.5-3.5 months postop. Already much better, as its starting to fill back in 🙂

Anyone know someone or anyone here who was a smoker and had a successful hair transplant ? I quit a month before my OP. 4 days after I had sheesa. 7 days later started having 3-5 cigs a day and then after two weeks continued with 5 cigs and then quit again. I have been going through some personal issues and I fell for the trap and I feel horrible. Are there high chances I've ruined the whole surgery? Would nothing grow ? One month post op I've had little shedding and I'm paranoid it's because of smoking and maybe the grafts are dead or something. Please share your experiences thank you
I smoked immediately after each HT, and continue to smoke. Filthy habit, and everytime I think about quitting, it reminds me of smoking and I light up. FML.
It had no impact on my HT #1, and I'm only 45 days post-op from HT #2. Both of my HTs are documented in this forum (links below, in my signature).

Once your check clears and you have the surgery done; you are pretty much on your own! (At least that was the case for me). Adrift and abandoned floating helplessly in the middle of an ocean of despair.
Glad you put the paranthetic in, as this is absolutely untrue for many many of the top doctors routinely discussed on this forum.
And if it IS one of the trusted docs, perhaps it would be my skewed idea of a good result, or my unobtainable expections. Education prior to a HT is invaluable in this regard, my opinion only. Could be wrong.
-
If this were my head, I'd look into FUT with one of the top docs. Why? Because that's quite a bit of hair loss for 30yo and you'll need to maximize your lifetime donor supply while at the same time safeguarding against any transection that could occur in the hands of the wrong FUE techs.
-
Any pictures of it? And if you have please a picture at the recipient :-)
Sure thing man, will update this thread with some proper pics (including donor) in a couple days...

No I dont take anything, side effects sound not the best.
If you're not willing to try propecia/finasteride, you should reconsider getting a HT. Just my opinion.
Most people experience little to no sides, and nearly every person in that tiny minority who do experience side effects, return to normal after stopping the medication

Why do you wear a hat? Your hair looks great!
Shock loss above and below my scar at the moment :-)

Biggest challenge was overcoming my preconceived notion that HT's look fake, which of course they do not when all the proper conditions are met
