  1. Kind of, yeah! It's basically a dark comedy / fictional version of investigative podcast series like Serial, Slow Burn, or The Dropout.
  2. Hi guys! I haven't been on here in a bit but I wanted to share my scripted podcast / audiodrama "Battle of the Bald" -- the entire series is out now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc. It's a 6-episode satirical "untrue crime" series about a young lab assistant who accidentally stumbles upon a permanent cure for hair loss. This discovery skyrockets him to fame and fortune but he quickly becomes a hero for an extremist online men's rights group of former-baldies and when he publicly denounces them and gets them deplatformed, he's forced to go on the run for his life. It's a dark comedy about the dangers of male insecurity spiraling out of control but hopefully it has a positive message in the end for anyone who's losing (or has lost) their hair and is struggling with how to deal with that. It also stars a few hilarious comedians like Kyle Kinane, Jackie Kashian, and Eddie Pepitone! Here's the Apple Podcast link to the whole show if you're interested: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/battle-of-the-bald/id1544899113 Spotify Link:
  3. Hey guys, A little over a year ago, I decided to turn my struggles with hair loss into something productive and fun. I made "Going Going Gone", a comedic web series about a (mostly) fictional version of myself having a meltdown over his hair loss. I made 4 episodes, each about 5 minutes long. Thought you guys might enjoy! Episode One Link: For anyone who watches, thank you thank you! - Tyler
  4. Thanks!! Really appreciate that. I'm really liking it so far and it's a definite confidence boost.
  5. Exactly! If I could afford HT, I might've gone through with it but for now I'm definitely into the shaved head look. It was a big adjustment the first few days, especially at work, haha, but now it's just the new normal and I'm really glad I did it. Also, it gave me a visually interesting ending for the web series, haha.
  6. Hey guys! This is the final episode of Going Going Gone, my hair loss web series. I try something fairly irregular when approaching this issue: calling on the power of the Almighty/my parents. My parents and I don't really see eye to eye religiously-speaking, but I figured "Why not?" Anyway, check it out to potentially see a miracle! (there's no miracle) LINK:
  7. Hey guys, For this week's episode of Going Going Gone, we went to Venice Beach and asked women their thoughts about hair loss and dating (from my character's odd perspective). The answers we got were pretty interesting so I hope you'll check it out! I'm also wondering if you guys have any experience with this: Have you ever been rejected specifically because of hair loss? (The web series is comedic, but this is a serious question) Thanks!
  8. Haha, that's great. I've worn a few wigs onstage myself in some comedy sketches.
  9. All of my siblings have red hair and since I've been losing my hair, I figured why not try wearing a red wig? It doesn't go so well. Here's a link to Episode 2 of Going Going Gone "The Red Wig" if you're interested! I'm also curious, have any of you guys tried wearing a wig before? What was your experience like? Best, Tyler
  10. Hello! So I've been losing my hair since I was 17 (now 25) and recently shot a web series that tackles the topic of hair loss. It's comedic, but essentially just heightens my past insecurities about my hair and I thought you guys might relate. I filmed a consultation at a hair restoration clinic here in Los Angeles and then a (fake) at-home hair transplant procedure that goes horribly awry. If you're interested, you can check it out below! Thanks, Tyler
