  1. Just to let you guys know, I decided to go for tricopigmentaion (temporary smp) at beauty medical. My appointment is on the 20th may (a week from now) and 2nd sessuon on 21st. I plan to take photos before and after to document my experience. I'm praying it doesn't look fake I'm excited and half sh****g my pants at the same time! You can check pics of my current situation in my profile. I plan to shave it down more but with electric clippers. I want to fill in the temples a bit... Let's see how it goes. Will keep you posted.
  2. Great... I have my appointment in 3 weeks at beauty medical... The pigment is encapsulated in silicon..
  3. how do you say such a bold statement when the quality of the pictures makes it very difficult to see the quality of the actual work? strange..
  4. The example you have given is an exception... It's simple mate. Permanent is designed go stay pretty much for life (although there may be exceptions were it doesnt) then there is temporary where it's designedto totally dissapear with 2 years (again.. although there may be exceptions). Anythint behaving or doing other than intended... is a malfunction. (Not what intended). Not sure why you're trying to mix them up. If you like the idea of one over the other great. They both have their advantages and disadvantages..
  5. Permanent would fade in the sense that the dots no longer look sharp. But the colour remains. Touch ups are to keep having the dots looks more detailed/fine. Any ink injected into the skin will inevitably diffuse over time ie lose its sharpness.. because of the characteristics of how skin ages vs the ink properties itself. Can you please tell me where you get the idea that permanent smp totally disappears? I think you may have the wrong idea.
  6. Can you please show an example of a permanent smp to have dissapeared? I would think it's a bit silly to be called permanent if it doesn't. I would go for temporary myself. . As I wouldn't want to have the same hairline for the rest of my life. So would be able to change it as time goes by..
  7. The pemanent is permanent in the sense that... it will never dissapear. Temporary. It totally dissapears..
  8. ok thanks for your reply. I would love to see photo examples though.. So if anyone has... feel free to post them
  9. Thanks for the reply. I said tricopigmentation as I thought this was the temporary version. Anyhow, this is what I meant. I do know the differences between both temporary and permanent already and all of what you have said, but my original questions still stands (in regards to temporary tricopigmentatio) Im not that interested in what happens to the permanent as I have some idea already.... Thanks, Slim
  10. Hello all. I have a question for the tricopigmentation technicians. I have an idea of what the trico dots look like from the first few applications, but could you explain or describe the appearance of continued trico after say 4 or 5 years. If I hazard a guess.. I would imagine the whole head would look less 'dot defined' and more of just a merge of grey dots resulting in just a grey shadow effect rather than dots simulating real hair follicles. Am I right And input from either professionals or those who have had trico for more than 4 years would be greatly appreciated.
  11. very impressive work. Do you have any 'work in progress pics?? Also, how long is this after the first sessions? how many sessions did this take? over what time period. Im about to get it done by melina lardi,, but recently ive seen some examples that make me worry somewhat
  12. Hello SMPprine. I have hair still and I shave my head fully down. It doesn't look anything like that.
  13. hmmm... to me its not very impressive judging by the picture. Looks completely unnatural.. Sorry, just my opinion. Perhaps the redness is making it look worse, but I do think you need some more done. Maybe it looks different in real
  14. if anyone has been to beauty medical to have temp smp and had the shaved head effect...or has some links to some high res photo.. it would be much appreciated.. (pics on her website are not the best resolution so its hard to tell how real it looks... from the photos they look good).
  15. Seems like they have updated the beauty medical website with photos. Or maybe I wasn't looking in the right places before haha. Anyhow.. pics look ok but I will want to look at a real example. I think in 3 months or so I will call the clinic to see if it's possible to see a real example. The idea of temp smp is growing on me
  16. Thanks alot for the reply. I think in about 6 months I will take a trip to Italy and have a look for myself Could you tell me your findings on clients who have had it done for at least 2 years.. and then need to touch up (or who have had regular touch ups). In my mind, I imagine it would be better to totally let the pigment disappear rather than have touch ups, because the old/original dots would be faded and new dots would be added,, eventually having too much overlap til it looks all just one colour / helmet effect. Any comments on that would be appreciated.
  17. Thank you for your reply mate. One last question if I may. I'd like to you try be honest. Do you think tricopigmentation could be improved in some way (aesthetically) or do you think there are certain downfalls? Or do you think it's about as good as it can get?
  18. Thanks for your input... Albeit maybe a slightly bias one. Do you know where I can find some pictures of her or her clinics results?
  19. anyone heard of or had experience with dermatricorepair.it??
