  1. @Arrie: Thank you for the tip. I will check it out. @HTsoon: Of course I will not be happy with only results from finasteride, but I am hoping it will minimize the area that needs HT. So I have a smaller area that needs FUE. @hsirforreal: Yes I appreciate his honesty. But he didnt use BHT. I am so tired of wearing this hairpiece :-(
  2. This is not a nice read. I am considering this doc for a transplant myself. Did you consider Dr Bhatti in India also? That would have been closer to you and Australia.
  3. Here is another photo. Do you think finasteride can help me? I am hoping it can minimize the area that needs HT.
  4. I have started using propecia to see if it can have a positive effect for me. Last time I was at the hairdresser we draw the area that needs hair on a see-there square cm papir and I have now counted that the area is approximately 149 square cm. That is with a low hairline with some temples resession. The distribution is: Crown: 35 square cm Middcalp: 45 square cm Front/hairline: 69 square cm
  5. The side effects make me a little hesitant. But they are rare, right? What kind of sides did you experience? I cant apply minoxidil because of the hairpiece..
  6. Lately Ive been thinking about if I should start taking propecia before or together with a hairtransplant. I never really gave it a try before starting with the hairpiece. Do you think it can be usefull for me or have I lost too much hair?
  7. Thanks for your reply Niko. I have sent you a message :-)
  8. The irony is that I have permanemtly removed most of my body hairs. Except my beard..which I would gladly donate 100% in order to get a full head of hairs
  9. Thanks. I will do research on him. For me its important that the surgion can do big sessions and transplant a lot of hairs in one journey. I understand that Dr Umar does this..
  10. Thanks for the reply. FUT is not an opion for me. I dont want that kind of a scar. Does anyone in Turkey do body hair transplants? I need it in order to get a good density.
  11. Thank you for the reply. I will contact both surgions. I think this videos is so amazing: Wish I lived more near a surgion who could achieve this.. So in reality. If I dont mind donate all of my beard hairs, I could get a high density like in this video? Like Dr U says, that guy transformed into a NW0.
  12. I dont think that is something I want to do, since I am afraid of the scar. Dont you think that enough hairs from the beard and FUE could results in a good density?
  13. Hi I am a 26 year old guy from Norway. I am wearing a hairpiece. Have been since I was 20 years. I dont know at what point I started loosing hairs, but I would guess around 17-18 and very aggressively. I became very aware of it by the age of 19 and became severly depressed. I wanted to do something about it and started wearing the piece. I started taking propecia but the doctor told me that I wouldnt get the results that I wanted from it, since my hairloss already had progressed a lot. I used a lot of toppik and transitioned to the hairpiece without anybody except my family knowing. I am happy with the visual perspective of the piece, but have been very unhappy about wearing it for the past two years and longing for a permanent results. I have been on a consultation with a FUE-surgion in my country. Here are the information he gave me at the meeting: - He told me I am young and that he cant predict how my hairloss will progress. He told me that I would loose all of the hairs in the areas I am thinning or completely bald and might loose hairs on the sides. He told me that if I am lucky I will end up as NW5a and if unlucky NW6. - Because of my age and the uncertainty he didnt want to extract a lot of hairs. He told me that after the operation and the hairs have grown out I can expect 40% of the density that I currently have on the sides of my head. He said he can give me some coverage but it will look like a guy who is balding. The density would be approximately 60 hairs per square centimeter. - He told me my donor areas was somewhat above average. I got very sad after the consultation because the look of a balding man is the look I escaped right before starting with the piece. It is not an option nor a result I would be happy with. I was wondering if it could be an option for me to transplant beard hairs to my head in order to achieve a higher density? I have attached a photo of my beard and would gladly donate all of it. Links like this gives me great hope: https://www.dermhairclinic.com/beard...-11000-grafts/ Does anyone know of a surgion who could do this in Europe? I have attached photos from last time I was at the hairdresser changing the piece. As you can see the hairs where the piece is glued to the skin is shaved but the hairdensity is good.
