  2. I'm at the 4th week now and my recipient area is still pinkish red. The donor is every thin so i wear a hat to conceal it in public. I had 5k graphs though. With 2000 graphs, your donor shouldn't be noticeable after a month.
  3. It's awesome to have this forum to help each other out through the process. I'll try and ignore it and wait it out, hopefully it doesn't get any worse. thanks
  4. Hello guys, I had a HT FUE 5000 grafts 1 and a half weeks ago and I think I have some shock loss in the donor area where their appears to be some patches. I can still see some of little hairs breaking through but they are not growing. Is this shock loss, over-harvesting or just slow to grow? Will this grow in or look worse over time? I had my HT at ASMED in turkey and from what i understand they rarely see shock loss. Its more noticeable in person than in the pics. I don't have a professional camera to capture how it looks. I emailed the clinic but haven't gotten a response yet so I thought I would reach out to you guys since its the weekend. thanks in advance.
  5. I saw acegik when he came in into the office and i must say, hair already looked great from the first procedure, I'd say it looks better in person than in pics. Can't wait to see what it looks like in 10 months or so.
  6. days 5 and 6 seem to be the worse. I put some aloe on my donor area but it didn't seem to help. day 7 to 8 the pain will for the most part go away and you will just deal with the itch.
  7. Looks good man, I recently shaved my head and I can't pull it off at all. I think with ur facial features it looks good man.
  8. 9100 donor? Wow, that's a lot of donor. any updates????
  9. No, it has been 4 days but I think I'm going to stop for now. Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know.
  10. Just an update, I started to get pain in my left testicle for the last 3 days. i don't know if it is from the finasteride or not but I assume it is. I have been taking .5 mg a day. Its like a dull pain that comes and goes. As far as getting an erection, I haven't had any problems, but I think I'm going to stop taking this due to the testicle pain. It hasn't went away for 3 consecutive days.
  11. yea, I think there was a miscommunication between the doctor and I or the doctor and the pharmacy. I will ask about it when I go to for my next checkup in 2 months. the prescription reads camber pharmaceutica, which is based out of new jersey when I looked it up online.
  12. I have booked a date with Dr. Koray Erdogan for the end of August. His recommendation is 3000 for the front, 700 for the midscalp, and 1300 for the crown, totaling 5000. they would perform 3000 the first day and the remaining the second. My only concern is that I won't have any donor left if a future procedure is needed, which is very likely.
  13. Quick update, the doctor prescribed me Finasteride 1 mg pills. As you can see in the pictures, the pills are very small. I have decided to cut them in half and take half a pill (.5 mg) a day for the first month to see how my body reacts. If everything is ok, I will up it to 1 mg a day. I asked the doctor for the generic version called proscar and he said ok, so I don't know what happened once a arrived at the pharmacy. Anyways, the pharmacist said they could contact the doctor but I didn't have time so I just decided to see how these pills works. The pharmacist said this is the generic version of propecia. What do you guys think?
