  6. Awesome results!!! ironically I had my procedure with Dr. Alexander 12/09/16
  7. Hello all, I figured I should make a new thread of the actual procedure. I arrived in Phoenix a couple days before the surgery to visit my grandpa (Kill 2 birds with one stone). When I got to the hotel I thought it was so cool that there was so much history with it, every president since Herbert Hoover has stayed at this hotel. Anyways, back to the procedure... I arrived to Dr. Alexander's office at 7:30am and we went over the game plan, he was very informative and I felt confident with my decision. What I felt most appreciative about is how much time he spent with the procedure. From drawing out how much of the donor area, to cutting out the donor area and where to punching the holes for the grafts in the recipient area. I felt no pain at all, other than when they were injecting the shots to make my head numb. I was done around 5:30pm. Around 3:30pm I asked one of the nurses how much is left and she responded with "perfection takes time". When she said that, I knew I would have a good result. In my previous surgery with Dr. Meshkin, I was done by lunch time... Dr. Alexander and his team has been extremely helpful. Spex answering all my questions, Nicole clearing up confusion with the hotel and always being responsive and Dr. Alexander being extremely professional and knowledgable. You can tell that he takes the procedures very seriously and as an art. After all, we are his finished product. Thank you all for your help. Spex will be providing the pictures from the operation, but I have attached a couple pictures from 2 months after my first surgery and a few days before my second surgery.
  8. It's weird, I am actually much more excited than nervous. The only reason that I am nervous is that christmas and new years is coming up and hoping that no one will notice and bummed out that I will miss out on a camping trip, but hey nature will never leave and it'll be there when I can camp again. My experience has been nothing but fantastic so far with Dr. Alexander and his team. 10/10
  9. Awesome transformation!! This makes me much more confident with my decision. Thank you
  10. Thank you all for your responses, I think I am going to give it a shot.
  11. Hello everyone, With my HT just around the corner, I am thinking about adding ACELL to the procedure. How do you feel about ACELL? Have any of you found it useful or a waste of money? It would only cost $350 with the procedure. When you're comparing it to how much the procedure costs, it is not that bad.
  12. Hello all, I have a question that I cannot find a specific answer for... I am going to have an FUT soon and am planning on taking a month off of jiu jitsu training post surgery. Will this be enough time? I have been reading everywhere from 1 month to 1 year. I live a very active lifestyle and am willing to make a sacrifice, but feel like 1 year is a little bit excessive.. Thank you all in advance.
  13. Reading this makes me feel much more comfortable with my decision with Dr. Alexander! Great write up
  14. Hello all, I have just set my date for December 7th with Dr. Scott Alexander for 1800 grafts to add more density. This will be my second HT surgery, my first was with Dr. Meshkin. I would say I am 70% satisfied with my first HT, which is why I am going for my second one. Dr. Scott Alexander and his crew have been 10/10 if I were to rate them! They have been extremely helpful and answer all of my questions, which is why I am going to Phoenix. Spex has been very responding and extremely informative. I will be having a 1:1 call with Dr. Alexander to go over my procedure in detail.

  16. Hello all, Sorry for my inactivity, I have been out of the country and haven't really been near a computer. Tell me what you guys think about my progress. I definitely see progression! just want the hair to thicken up and look fuller! I noticed at night time my confidence sky rockets through the roof because light doesn't shine through my hair. At day time I still catch my self thinking that people notice that I am balding. I have attached photos in dim light and under direct light in my bathroom. Let me know what you all think!
