But I was scared too by reading lots of people feedback/ suggestion as the surgery looks very complicated. I started consulting dr. in India but the cost of hair transplant was not affordable for me so I dropped the idea.
I looked into various other alternatives like wig, hair weaving but none of the options satisfied me after consulting people who are using it.
They asked me it’s not a good idea, better be what you are.
In the meantime I come across 2 of my friends whose complete look was changed and I was surprised how sudden it happened. When I talked about it, they said it is only possible through hair transplant. I got a chance to personally meet them and it helped me to clear all my doubts and questions which I was having.
I decided to go for it, consulting some dr. in India.
They asked me I need 4000 graft and it would cost 200 INR, some asked 99 per graft which was again not affordable.

So it is all about total experience and brand name. Since Prashant has done more than 200 surgeries of hair transplant it was quite OK for me to go it.
I planned my journey and met Dr. Prashant and the first day he consulted and explained the process.
The next day I went through surgery. In the mid of the surgery I said to dr. it is really simple surgery and not that much complicated as it looks after watching videos on youtube.
• 4000 graft total transplant.
• Day 1 – 3000 graft extracted in 3-4 hr. and implantation went for 6-7 hr. first day.
• Day 2- 1000 grafts was extracted and implanted in 3-4 hrs.
• Initially they put local aesthesia injection that will pain when they put it. After it is done, your head becomes senseless and you won’t feel what is happening. You won’t have any pain.
• My suggestion is better to go for day 1 surgery because second day surgery was little painful. So whatever you want to transplant go for session 1.
• His team was very friendly, I was simply sitting and lying down sometime and the process was good.
• During the surgery we took 2 breaks to enjoy meal and tea.
• The same evening I went home and came back next day morning for session 2.
• Finally second day surgery was finished and they washed my transplant hair.
The total experience was good.
Only thing is post-surgery you have to be careful.
• I could not sleep comfortably as the donor area has bandage, so it will be for 2-3 days after that it can be removed.
• You have to use 2 pillows to keep your upper body up while sleeping.
• 7 days anti biotic and painkiller medicine needs to be taken
• Till max 7days- you have to use headband to make sure swelling is in controls.
• 15 -20 days I protected myself from direct sun light.
• The donor area will be covered after 10 days but I was having some sensitiveness in my donor areas after 10-20 days not I feel ok.
It’s been almost 45 days for my surgery and now my transplanted hair all falling as per process and the new hair will start growing after 2-3 months.
I am experience exactly the same told by Dr.
Overall my experience is good. I would like to recommend Dr.Prashant for his sincerity and honesty with the patient. His cost is affordable and reasonable and a middle class family member can think of hair transplant to gain his confident back.
