  1. So im 4 months post op from my fue and this week i think i will go get a hair cut at the barbers for the first time in 16 years i used to love going to get a haircut . Ive been shaving my head myself for all that time and i hated it just the feeling of shaving it and it looked awful so i also wore a hat everyday anyway ive let it grow out the last two months and its time to let a pro take a look. But even though i do have basically a full head of hair i still cant leave the house without a hat on im just conditioned to do it even if im asleep i sometimes wake up in a panic to check if i have a hat close by im like a junkie. There must be others who have experienced this how did you ditch the habit.

  2. Im 3 months post op from 1900 grafts with Dr yaman and so far my growth has been amazing i have a full head of hair again there are an excellent and very professional clinic and to anyone thinking of going there i would highly recommend them.

  3. I read about the 2nd ht being a harder process will more possible pitfalls but im 2 months post op from my 2nd ht and so far ive found the whole thing a lot less stressfull.

Will the first i was checking the mirror every few minutes and worrying about shedding or shockloss or lost grafts but with the second im doing none of that i could go two days without specifically looking in the mirror to check my hair.

So its going well as with the first one i havent shed much id say maybe 20% so far with the first i probably only shed 50% of grafts through the whole process so it probably wont help much but if you try not to obsess over it and relax and let it happen youll have a much easier time.. .

  4. So i was in Istanbul yesterday for a hair transplant with resul yaman i got 1900 grafts fue along the hairline and mid scalp. Everything went well and was organised professionally with airport transfers and the hotel was amazing.

I had already had a op a year ago with another clinic in Istanbul which didn't turn out that well so this one was a bit of a repair job. And comparing the two operations during and post op theres a world of difference.

With the first op was all done by techs and especially when they were extracting the grafts there were really being heavy handed and yanking them out.I think because they didnt use the motor properly so the skin wasn't cut through completely so they had to really tug which i think damaged the grafts.

So yesterday dr yaman started by a slight hairline redesign then he made the incisions then started the extractions i think he worked on me for about an hour maybe more the time line is a bit fuzzy. Then the techs took over with planting then another round of extractions and planting with them working in shifts i think it took about 6 hours in total. The whole op with the dr and the techs was smooth and refined and gentle and the testament is the pain and comfort levels after the operations first one was horrible the first 2-3 days after with head and neck aches and the donor site weeping and soreness.

But with this one no headaches or neck aches i have a bit of swelling to the top of my head but i had a good night after the op no pain and today i feel great no problems.I was considering not going through with the op because of the way i felt after the first one but it couldnt be more different and i think thats down to the skill of the people who did the op .

After the op i met a couple of patients who had had HTs at the clinic and were coming back for another session and the results were impressive especially one guy with a pony tail theres no way you pick this guy out of a line up and say he had a HT it was very natrual and super impressive.

I also got more grafts than i paid for the Dr said its more important that i get a good result

and not to worry about it. I found the Dr and the staff to be relaxed and full of humour but professional and on my experience i would highly recommend them. But clearly i cant speak about the end result yet but im very confident of a good outcome based on my experience.

  5. hi im going for 1500 grafts this time and i am going to dr yaman the fact that hes recommended does make me feel better about the final result but i actually wish i had never started down this road.Honestly being bald was better than how my hair looks now at least bald is natural i think its clear to anyone who looks at my hair its anything but natural.

  6. I have my second ht booked for next week in istanbul im about a year out from the first with 3000 grafts it was done in istanbul at a very cheap clinic where techs did all the work.TThe final result is not good its very sparse and the grafts were planted in strange directions and the whole thing is just weird and unnautral looking so i need to do something about it.

And what im thinking is going back to istanbul for another cheap ht even though the doc is recommended on this site and he does a lot of the work himself its still a case of you get what you pay for.

And i know theres a higher degree of difficulty transplanting around hair thats already there so

rather than into bald areas. But i just cant afford to pay ?4000 of ?5000 or more to go to a more established clinic.

But its hard to imagine it could look worse after the 2nd ht so i suppose the only worry is using grafts and still needing a third op .

  7. Just about 1 year post op 3000 fue grafts in istanbul the first two pics are pre op. The rest were taken today as you can see theres a lot of new hair but its quite weird looking not very dense and planted in diffrent directions i think although it was cheap in the end it wasnt worth the money.
