    Hi,

The waiting list wasn't that long, I had my consult on the 10th of October. The Dr. had a few slots open this year which was my priority so I opted the 23rd of November.
In total I paid €7740 for 2350 grafts.
The procedure was fully done with a motorized punch.

    I hope this helps 🙂

Thats a very good help.  Thanks for putting numbers on very kind of you!

  2. I do like the look of Dr Bisanaga's work. I will be keeping an eye on his work, his patients seem happy and he's aftercare seems A1.  He seems to be posting more Afro hair work and he's youtube channel has some nice work.

Do keep us posted as I'm in the same situation with you.

Dr Diep seems to come up a lot.  His team are disorganised in my experience (the cancelled on my last minute).   Even allowing for that I didn't find them slick to deal with personally but he has brilliant results. I do hear complaints about donor area though.  Others I'm sure will be on here to comment more.

Wise. I would avoid too. Black hair is already difficult to transplant without adding further complications/worries.

You will know more than me as you will have researched it more than me (I am white) but most of the European surgeons, or at least the ones I spoke to, send their black patients to Lupanzula and Bisanga. I have seen a couple of results from Feriduni which were good and I would say, if you add Feriduni to the list above, that he is the best overall surgeon mentioned.

Oh thank you for your responses it is much apprectiated. How is your FUE journey?

Dr. Bisanga never ceases to amaze me, he's definitely one of the very best in FUE.

I do agree his work does look consistently brilliant. My only reservation is the lack of afro hair patients. I was going to go for a consolation in USA (again). He is literally a train ride from me. It'll be a no brainer for me personally.  I am organising an online consultation and I will be sure to let the communtiy know how I get on.

Thanks for your further questions guys.

@MJM Sorry I missed your question, hence the delay in responding. I would look at it the other way in saying that BHR Athens resident surgeons will be more in demand in time as more of their work and results become more established and therefore the market will change. I believe that this will ultimately dictate the situation long term. There is certainly no immediate plans for Dr Bisanga to discontinue performing surgery in Athens. BHR Athens is now becoming more established and interest is growing in the clinic daily.

@Afrohead Surgery in Brussels have Dr Bisanga as the only performing surgeon. He has his technicians that help to extract (not punch) and placing technicians.

Please let me know if you may have any further questions.

    Stay safe everybody.

Thank you for replying me so promptly I wasn't expecting that!  Please may I ask does he a lot of experience working with afro hair.  I asked because I am of African background and I have found through painful experience that very few surgeons are able to work on my hair type and achieve good results. I do love his work but I am concerned whether he can replicate that on my hair type!!
