143 days since surgery

142 days since surgery. The last couple of pictures show the recovery process of my alopecia spot and also the area of my beard where follicles were harvested.

141 days post surgery. Getting close to the 5 month mark, I can certainly notice the improvement. Whilst I have had to deal with some delayed shock loss, things starting now to come together.

Day 126 post surgery Some very fine hair growth noticed within the alopecia patch. I so hope that I that the steroid injections work.

I have to admit that this has become a bit of an emotional battle. Whilst I am very pleased that the new hair is growing steady, there is the ongoing issue of having to deal with Alopecia areata . For the last couple weeks, I was under the impression that this was triggered by the herbal supplement Monolaurin ( coconut lauric acid). However I still feel that there is connection between the surgery and the alopecia.

It seems that there is new bald patch developing within the temple area.

To be honest, I can't really see much of a difference. Does it looks thicker ? Perhaps yes within the mid area of my scalp.

I do hope that my hair thickens up even more within the next coming months. So far I am pretty pleased with the outcome as I have gained coverage in areas where the hair loss was very prominent.

And yes the hair looks pretty thick when it's wet.

I guess the next 3 month will be very interesting
