Hi guys,
3 months now and starting to notice things happening, lots of little spikes coming out. I'm attaching a couple of pics one outside and some inside just to make it clear what a major roll lighting has especially at this stage. For all you guys that are thinking of getting a procedure done this is quite an important thing to know that your results change hugely in different lighting. As it matures I'm hoping this is not the case. But at the moment I'm happy how it looks for 3 months.

Hey jimbo
Pics look great and with 2.67 a graft you are heading for a full head of hair! As you know I I'm on a similar journey to you and if dr lorenzo can do the same in my crown I will be more than happy! Good luck to you jimbo and in a few months you will have some serious hair to style!!!

Looks bang on where you should be, and from now on things get better so exciting times ahead. Happy growth to you!

Hi,
I'm also just over two months out and have a bit of all of the above going on I guess I shed about 70-80 percent of grafts and I have some stubble type hairs some longer ones all are growing at different rates and with the longer ones I find it really hard to know which are native hairs or new! But let's all hope we have got the worst behind us now! And lots of growth to come!

Cheers stinger,
Yes this is the hard part but give it another 4-6 week and things will hopefully start to bloom for us. Look forward to your updates as well.

Hi guys,
Two months today. Everything seems to be as expected, just had a hair cut, I'm trying to post similar pictures each month so when things start to happen it will show it in the same place and light. When washing I'm starting to feel a slight stubble in between hairs in places which is hopefully things starting to happen. There's still a slight redness in the hairline but it's hardly noticeable and does not bother me, this was one thing I was concerned about pre op but for me has settled and looked ok from an early stage.
Any comments or questions please ask if not I will post again at three months.
Cheers pma

Hey romanio,
Good to hear from you and good to know the S D has gone now hair is looking good. How much do you think it has held the growth back do you feel if you never had sd the result would have been better?
-
And to add to my comment above also choosing the right surgeon off course!!!
Mick do you agree fue seems to produce best results at 1500-2000 grafts maximum a day?
-
A excellent result. Seems that you get a very good yield with fue if the procedures are not too big,and split apart between 6-12 months.
-
Firstly I think you have consulted with two of the best out there. Personally I would speak to dr lorenzo and tell him what bisanga said to you and ask him if he feels this is a problem to him and if he is confident in doing a procedure for you then really consider it.

Hi fuethatwasclose7,
Thanks for the update, things are looking amazing you have come a long way.
Splitting hairs if you look back through this hole thread it was done over two procedures totalling around 5200 grafts.

Hi,
Any updates please

Hi pepe,
I have just read your thread from start to finish and I truly think it has been an amazing journey you have been on, your latest pictures look excellent.
I am my self on a journey with dr lorenzo after 3200 grafts in December and another 2500+ grafts with him this year, after looking through your pictures it really does inspire people like me to stay positive in the middle of the ugly duckling stage, thanks for posting pepe it is very helpful. Happy growing and look forward to your next update.

Thanks readytodoit,
It's guys like you who have had the procedure with dr lorenzo helped me make the big decision.
-
Donor look perfect stinger. Now it's just a bit of waiting for the growth!
-
Thanks ontop I will keep updating monthly.
Cheers jimbo I hope the grafts do hang on to make the ugly duckling stage easier!
My first day back at one of my regular contracts today and one of them commented saying I look different, and that my hairline looked more rounded. I'd already decided if this happens I would say I had laser treatment to which he replied FairPlay to you it looks good which was a good comment to get at the start of the ugly duckling stage!

Cheers stinger99. Your thread on your procedure is great and Im sure your result will be too.

Hi question mark,
At the moment there are still quite a few transplanted hairs remaining which is great I'd guess I've shed about 60-70 percent of the grafts although I'm fully aware I can keep shedding up to the two month mark but so far they seem to be hanging on I hope they continue to stick around!

Now this one is in direct sunlight, quite amazing the difference! This is how lighting changes a 3 month in procedure.
