  1. I am at work now. I can do it once I get home this evening.
  2. Johnny - have you paid attention to the angle of your hairs? Mine are completely wrong. For example the direction of my hair on one part is / and the transplanted hair is \ . I went to another doctor and they said several of the transplanted hairs are not in the right direction. I have to get restorative surgery now
  3. Very well put Supasquad. Had I've known the monetary arrangement the website has I would of made different decisions and completed further due diligence.
  4. Doganay and Erodgan are the two best in Turkey, I am sure you will be fine. Like I said earlier, no doctor has 100% satisfaction rate. So you will be fine with your operation and it is the better deal compared to other doctors considering PRP is offered for free.
  5. The doctor does have some solid work, so although many are upset, I think we should stay calm. At the end of the day its the results that matter the most. So whether you are 6months post-op or 1 month, no way to know until the final results , ~12months. It was just Johnny2000 and I that were venting and I feel bad because things seem to have been blown out of proportion. If you had surgery and were happy on how things went, no need to panic and think your results will not be good because of minor background noise. Stay calm and positive and I am sure the vast majority of you will have solid results.
  6. I spoke to the doctor and let me say I mean no harm in my comments. My personal experience I thought could of been much better. But of course nothing goes as planned in life. I'm sure the doctor is producing good results and his pictures are real but there is room for improvement in terms of managing patients and expectations. That being said if you are thinking about doing a surgery with the doctor do your research, talk to as many people as possible then make a decision. This is What you should be doing for any doctor you are thinking about going too. All doctors in the world have positive and negative feedback and don't let recent negative feedback change your opinion on anyone. Look at the overall history and make your own judgment. Again do not let my personal opinion impact your decesion as a doctor should be evaluated on several points and I'm sure there are plenty of statsifed patients. I'm done posting on this issue. I will move on and have said what was on my mind. Take care everyone.
  7. Agreed. Unfortunately, my timing was off. Wish I saw him before the influx. Seems like a good guy and so does Dr.A . I initially wasn't even going to tell my story because they are nice but I don't want others going through the same experience as me. Maybe the doctor will start placing limits on # of surgeries a day now.
  8. Yeah first pic is before. My hairloss isnt that bad, but the hairline is pretty much gone. For example, I cant style it up. It looks worse in person because my hair is longer and some of the longer hairs is masking the baldness.
  9. Agreed, congrats to the patient. And as a recent patient of Dr. Doganay , perhaps I will get the same miracle growth.
  10. Also, you can literally count the black dots (grafts), so please tell me how this is 1512 grafts? I don't know where the other 1000 went but it wasn't on my head!
  11. My right side. All they did was literally add grafts where they saw no hair coverage. Keep in mind my hair has coverage from my mid-scalp because its long, so instead of parting my longer hair and then inserting the grafts they simply added grafts given my current hairstyle.
  12. Johnny- I noticed your mid-scalp is thinning as well. Was there a reason why the doc only touched the hair-line and not the rest? Same thing with me, the only hair-line was re-enforced but not the other areas even though other doctors have suggested to get it done also.
  13. I would wait a year also and then think about it. Hard to tell results so early. The doctor does have some solid results from other patients.
  14. Hey Johnny - yes same exact setup as yours, lower part which is also the thinnest compared to rest of donor area(at least for me). I can share pics and specifics in about a week. Iam in Italty for vacation right now then heading to NYC on Sunday. But I have been taking detailed pics throughout it all.
  15. Johnny - Reading your write up, it's almost identical to my story, even the part not getting picked up at the airport. Would not be an issue if they just told me they can't make it and provide directions prior to the trip starting. But, nevertheless, comes down to surgery. I was quoted 2000 based on online consult and at surgey I was told 1,000 grafts. Huge difference as most surgeons recommend 2000-2500 for me. Defineltly not dense packing, like your case. I know the doctor had another surgery same day so it brings into question why were the grafts lowered by that much, not enough time? Generally pretty disappointed, wish I read your post as it seems the Doctor is better for larger fue sessions probably. How's your progress? Your age and hairline are similar to mine so our results should track (he didn't shave my recipient area also)
  16. I deleted it. Will have a more detailed write up verus a sentence or two with no real substance. If you have any questions in the meantime shoot me a PM if not you will see my review in about a week. But high level thoughts, there were some issues and misrepresentations.
