Hey guys ever since i had my strip surgery i have been loosing/shedding/thinning hair under my strip scar incision. What could be goinng on here? im extreemely worried, im 9 months post op and there seems to be no signs of recovery quite yet. Im going to get my strip scar grafted into soon. but i am way more concerened about whats going on under my strrip scar, more so than the scar itself! I recently consulted with my doc 2 days ago and the doc examined the area under the scar and did say it was a "little thin" but this a downright LIE! its almost bald in some areas....im so frustrated/stressed/depressed about this whole situation! any opinions on what could be going on here, and do you guys think theres a chance that the hair will go back to its natrual diamater/density? all replys are greatly appreciated

Fue2014, idk what your guys definition of rushing is? i have taken alot of time to research and i know of the best fue docs. i will wait until at least 1 year before having any repair work i will post photos soon Ej where do you live?

and hrs thanks for your input but ive felt like i have had a death sentence since age 13, so after this failed ht and scar, its kind of a tipping point for me in percentage wise, i cant tell id say 65%

mickey to be honest, id say it would resolve 80%, ive let go of alot of things i was unhappy with after my ht. it would make me feel happiness which i havent felt in 10 years. So yes it definantly would, so now im making steps towards this goal of restoring my frontal third and making a great scar repair witha mix of RECELL and fue,

hey mickey i have done everything for my depression..anti depressants,therapy,counseling,hypnosis(still doing),functional medicine (i advise anyone with health concerns to look this up), exercise( biking 4 days a week, go for long walkds daily), brainwash myself with positive mind movies/affirmations, and some other treatments i dont have on my mind atm. might be trying ketamine therapy soon, but im broke

on a scale from 1-10 id say...well i was at a 9 before my transplant, but now id say say a 15, i would have broken depression scale for sure

hi garage land. the transplant is turning out ok i guess, but im 9 months post op so maybe it might get a little better? ill will consult with doctors who are masters in donor closure mickey i agree with you fut surgeons have the most unethical intentions, i cant even begin to explan, i cant explain in words the pain im feeling, i feel like i have been given a life sentence in prison

yeah i have a feeling you may be right in your guess i had some more complications from the strip that ididnt even know existed until i had the procedure. 1. direction of hair growth under the scar has changede 2. the hair under the scar is falling out, i pray that this grows back, im very upset about that mickey do you know if #2 will resolve on its own with time? ive talked to a top top fue doctor consulter that said the hair growth under the scar can go back to normal my surgeon is blaming me for my scar stretching even though i did absolutely nothing to put tension on the scar im so depressed with this situation i feel like ending my life would be a better choce then suffering at this young age im using the worlds post powerfull drug to treat my severe depression, b/c of my strip scar

hi hrsp i know all about smp, id say they get good results but i would leave that as my last option if all else fails thanks for your input though i was thinking fue with dr lorenzo or bisigna or even mwamba but i also have revision on my mind so i could use less fue grafts but idk who would be a good revision doc that can promise me a smaller scar

hey guys my scar is around 5-7mm in width (i think getting measured tomorrrow) My scar is not ear to ear, it goes from my left ear to the middle of my donor area and stops there So who do you guys think has the best scar revisons/technique? All opinions and replies are greatly appreciated..thanks guys

Hey guys im extremely unhappy and depressed with my fut hair transplant. im only 20 so this greatly increases my depression because my youth is vanashing before my eyes, What would you guys advise i have researched so much that im showing signs of carpal tunnel, all i do is research for the past 8 months. 24/7 researching, as i am to depressed to do anything else. So im conflicted on what to do for my strip scar. I get mixed answers and i also have mixed feelings on what to do. Im thinking of getting fue into my scar but.. I dont want to waste grafts into my 5-7mm scar when it can go on top into my hair line (my scar does not go ear to ear, it goes from my left ear to the middle of the back of my donor area) So im also considering getting a revision with a top revision doc to make the scar 1-3mm hopefully so i can save fue grafts and later on graft into my revised scar with less fue grafts so i can have more donor hair left over. But im worried a revision will only make the scar wider, What should i do? All replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys, my name is aaron and i had a HT t the age of 19 last year and im almost 9months post op. Im not pleased with the FUT results and very upset that i went the FUT route because of the linear scar that has stretched Im 20 now going to be 21 soon, so im looking for a combination of adding density to my frontal third and doing a combination of RECELL(recell has the possibility of making scars into virgin scalp skin) scar treatment and putting grafts into the empty space where there is no hair. Im extremely depressed and this is an understatement, I just want this fixed to where im pleased with the result, i do not need hair anywhere but my frontal third. I just want to move on with my life, and live a normal 20 year old life. I miss living, isolation is no fun at my age, ive made up 1000s of excuses to my friends to why i cant chill with them becasuse im sad about my procedure and more importantly the scar. So id like your opinions on the BEST fue docs for scar repair and adding density. Also im only intrested in scalp grafts for density and scar grafting and density. From researching ive come across as these docs being the best for this route---- Dr bisigna Dr reys Dr Shapiro Dr umar dr feriduni all replies are greatly appreciated...thanks guys
