  2. I agree, Turkey is at the forefront when it comes to FUE. Belgium also has some good FUE surgeons but is pretty far away from Sydney.
  3. Cool, Koray Erdogan is a top notch surgeon. His clinic looks pretty amazing also. Think he Is more expensive though
  4. No, not yet. the improvement from pre op to now is quite amazing. Most of the time I was hiding under a hat so no1 really knew I had a receding hairline. plus I use to use Toppik as well to cover up.
  5. Cheers, Lloyd. I'm pretty happy at the 4th month stage, can't wait to see what the next few months will bring! Not hiding under niff hats anymore is a great feeling to say the least! Feeling happy

Will post my progress up as the months go by, must say feels pretty good now though, I don't wear hats or toppik anymore. so my confidence level has gone up abit as I'm not worried about covering up my baldy spots anymore! It's a great feeling of relief coming into my 14th week post op!
  9. Pretty such, it's frustrating that Australia isn't up to the standards of Fue surgeons in Turkey. They are non existent in au
  10. Yeah, I tried to look for the best surgeon and he was one of my top pick out of a few others. Break down of the Grafts are, 950 Single 1940 Double Triple 1175 Total 4065!
  11. Hello Everyone! I had 4,065 Grafts ( 8,355 Hairs Total ) on the 23rd December 2013, I traveled all the way from Sydney To Antalya. It was a pretty long flight and I was exhausted by the end of it, I would recommended a stop over in Dubai for at least a day or 2 so you can unwind a bit. Or you can just travel from Australia to Dubai then Dubai to Istanbul then Istanbul to Antalya, if I had my chance again I Would went for a stop over in Dubai. Was picked up from the air port from Dr Hakan's staff then stayed at the Blue Garden which is only like mins 20mins to 30mins the hotel. Hotel wasn't that bad for staying 4 nights accommodation free, that was another factor why I choose dr Hakan. Hotel is like 6 out of 10 wasn't that bad but after the 4 days, ended me and the misses changed hotels so we could have a better room. We stayed at the Concorde Dulux, which is like 30 mins from blue Garden. Operation, Was picked up in the Morning 830am got to the hospital round 9am. got blood test done then seen dr hakan and he drew a hair line I was pretty happy with then I was buzzed down and they started to take the hair from my donor area out. This took about 4hours for them to take 4,065 hairs from my head, then I had a lunch break then.. Then the implanted of the hairs started to begin with dr Hakan and hes team, the local numbing shots hurt abit, pain level round 6 out of 10 but it is bearable. This went on for another 4 hours, I was exhausted at the end of the operation was a long day for me. I got my medication and was back on my way to the Blue garden Hotel. Swelling takes 4 to 5days to go down I kept rolling cool coke cans that were in the fridge to help with the swelling go down plus they give you tablets. Rested up for one day then picked up the next day for a clean and to take the bandages off. I had some questions I had for Dr doganay like, Question 1, How many Graffs do I have for future operation? He said I had round 2000 grafts, 1500 hairs and 500 Beard Hairs. I paid for the operation on the next day after the operation too, which I thought was pretty cool. Most people would want the money straight away or 1month in Advance. All in all it was a pretty good experience and it was worth the travel from Australia to Turkey. Also FUT wasn't a option for me as I didn't want to have a big smiley scar at the back of my head and longer recovery time would of been needed. Mickey85 thread about the " The pros/cons of FUE. Myths dispelled. " on this fourm was another reason why I chose to have FUE. Seeing that head cut open is just unbearable to look at! No where in Australia even comes close to results Turkey FUE surgeons are preforming. So I wanted to get the most best possible out come for my HT. That's why I traveled half was across the world to get it done! Photos are Pre Op, Post Op, and now at week 13! Peace Peace!
