Thanks for the advise guys. Not really a fan of FUT and that big scar you get at the back of your head as I usually like a #2 at the sides. Its a hard decision trying to pick the correct Dr for my case. All I can do is research and study cases and results on here. Not that I’m keen on FUT, who’s the top 3 FUT Drs and top 3 FUE Drs?

I also remember Dr Hakan going over my head before the FUE surgery and he said I’d get close to 2000 Grafts. Then at the end of the operation I was informed I got 4000 plus grafts?! Strange I thought, I’ve seen people on here get 2000 grafts and it looks like they got the same amount I got? 4000 + FUE grafts apparently. Hard to find honesty these days I guess especially when your in a forien country you can be easily taken advantage of. Food for thought for yas!

I’m also possibly considering to try scalp micropigmentation. Smp, if there’s anyone that has some thoughts on that? I’d like to hear it. Thanks

I tired finasteride but experienced some sexual side effect so I stopped taking it straight away. Im 36, yeah only Dr Hakans assistants was putting the FUE hairs in. Hardly seen him at all durning the procedure. i’ll be definitely doing more research this time round before I take the next HT Plunge! Whats the going rate per graft for a top FUE Dr these days?

Hi guys, it’s been awhile! Well thought I’d update my hair status! Hair seems to be getting quite thin again especially in the frontal third where I had the transplanted hairs (4065 Grafts 8355 Hairs) see attached pic below! I’m considering another HT in maybe a year or so. Temple hair still looks pluggy to date, I wouldn’t go back to turkey again for a HT. also my crown aka the black hole is starting to go! Looks like my hair is doomed! Updated pics below!

pretty much sums up my experience with Dr Doganay, He was there for the first few min of the operation then after that it was all the techs work. I didn't go in there expecting the techs to be doing all of the work pretty much now it seems like I have to go for another HT which I'll be picking more carefully this time. How many times does it take for a Doc with bad reviews on this fourm to get kicked off it? or are they paying this fourm too much for them not wanting to take them off? Id like an answer to that who ever moniters this fourm??!

Email from Dr Hakans office yesterday below, "Thanks for the reply. How can my HT be a success when the transplanted hairs have clearly fallen out? The full result for a HT can be seen in around 12 months, and transplanted hair keep getting thicker until around 18 months. Once hair grow back and the patient is satisfied with the result after seeing the full result, this case and operation are successful. The most important time for a HT is after the shock loss since transplanted hair may not grow back due to unsuccessful operation or some other reasons such as health problem, not taking care of hair, etc. Compared to before the operation pictures, you have a succesful result, but based on the pictures your emailed, it seems that there is a hair thinning problem. can we learn whether you are loosing native hair or transplanted hair? Normally, transplanted hair do not fall out, but if they do, they would do on the donor area, too. why is my right side temple pluggey and looks unnatural? This could be due to lost of hair and thin hair might cause unnatural appearance. Lastly, we are willing to help, please allow us to solve if any problem comes up. I was thinking about it but I didn't see any good results from him as I wasn't following any cases this was when he was first started to pop up on this fourm I'am consdering Dr Bahatti for a future HT as I'll be following some cases of his on this forum. I'm not sure if Dr Hakan is still a Recommened Doc on here?!

I remember asking the question to dr Hakan if my transplanted hair will ever fall out and he said NO! this was before the procedure and now they are saying different when my HT hairs actually fall out?! :rolleyes: I won't be flying back to Turkey for a free touch up either. even though they offered just don't think I can go through another procedure with them again.

FUT does seem to have more yield but I just can't deal with that scar you get

here's a copy of the 2nd email I sent now, sent clear photos as requested and still not a word "Yes, that's correct I'm not happy with the result! It's been well over the 1year mark now and I had this procedure done on the 23rd December 2013! so that's well over 1 and Half year! it's coming up to 2years! May I ask whom I'm speaking to? as I know this wouldn't be Dr Hakan. Also why would my transplant hairs fall out? after getting more then 4000 grafts dense pack I wouldn't expect this to happen in the frontal third? unless the hairs were taken from outside the safe zone? Photos are on the forum which you obviously seen and the pictures are there which I uploaded you can see clear as day that the HT hair is gone! Exacty! there was no native hair to lose! sounds like you work for dr Hakan HTsoon. I'm still waiting on a reply from Dr Hakans clinic and I've heard nothing back from them as they were quick to reply to me yesterday when they seen I wasn't happy on this forum they quickly emailed me but as I asked to why it looks to seem like I've lost my HT Hairs at the frontale third I get no response. Photos? I've seen Dr Hakan and not really impressed with my result as it's coming up to the 2year mark and I've stated so in my HT Blog. People should be informed of this type of information as some people might be on the fence to seeing him this would make them jump off the fence
