$700-800K ? For that amount of money, I'll go to medical school and become a Dr, then study to be a HT Doc - can you wait that long??

On my 2nd one I left the day after but was within driving distance if any complication arose.
For my 1st one I stayed at the Drs. home for about three weeks. Once they found me there, I had to leave though.

The difference between a 'cheap' provider and a 'top-ranked' provider cannot be measured simply in dollars. Gatsby is totally correct. THink hard and do some realy research. A year from now the extra $$ will be evident (and gone either way)!

This reminds me of a song, "In Oklahoma, or Arizona...What does it matter....." Regardless 2, 2A, 3...You are at the initial stages of hair loss or perhaps a bit more advanced than you think. The key here is to understand you are dealing with a genetic condition and, if you've lost, this will continue. Getting on some type of medical regimen, if the hair loss is bothering you, is HUGE. Are you doing anything currently?
"I've never been to Spain"....is the name of the song in case anyone wants to give it a listen.

Lots of Docs do 'no shave/long hair' surgeries. By 'Long Hair' they mean 2-3 inches in the recipient area, not 18" like yours, but the procedure is really the same.
You can get a FUT and the scar will NEVER show through your mane. FUE might be trickier because the donor area will be much larger than the simple FUT scar.

Luckily, thanks to the masterclass help that I got from Bloomy Biotin, Collagen and Keratin help, I have regrown almost all of my lost hair.
Many people , like the above poster, have found additional methods to regrow their lost hair. Some Examples.
Eating a strict diet of Grasshoppers and Cicadas (the 17 year variety are best).
Wishing on a Star. But only the ones within 65,874 Light Years. The remaining ones are too far away.
Sacrificing a small Animal or Bird to Ringo. Pre-Beatle Ringo, naturally.
Watching every Kevin Costner film and adapting his hair method acting.
Mustard, Mayonnaise, and Ketchup on your Weiner. No explanation needed.
GOOD LUCK. Oh, having Good Luck works too.

Visit this forum and educate yourself. Your question is too broad and non focused.

A 'superb' HT is one that looks like you never had one.

What were you protesting?

Wow - how did you feel cutting off all that hair?
(I was a patient of Dr, Mohebi, too)

People come here for advice and find out they like the company so they stick around, update, and then just hang out like a Bar. Other come for the advice, get it and then leave to go back to their Kit Kat sites. Or Tick Tack ...I dunno.

Good advice - with my fine light blond hair, I cannot use ANY styling gels because it just gets a plastered down look. I've only recent tried Fibers for my crown and it's doing a fine job. Good topic and great pics, EvoXOhio.

Hold on, this is putting the horse before the carriage, you get the girlfriend so SHE hangs the towels properly for you!
What is this, the 1950's? (And I remember them...)

I feel like having a great hairline now matters way more than it will ten years down the road.
I cant comment on your hair (which looks good) but you really need to learn how to hang your towels up properly to get a quality girlfriend.

No. Everyone's DNA and body is different. For every case of Son ending up like Dad, there is Son with NW1 and Dad with NW7.

What would a local GP do if you did have some screwed up grafts? Very little. On the other hand he can tell you how the strip is healing and how it generally looks.

Hey all ! Been away - retired now so travel beckons! Yeah - go for it Still Alive! Plan properly and you should be able to do any number of things. I brought photos of the hairstyle I wanted so my Doc could see where to plan the best graft placements. I vacillate now between shoulder long and 'normal' long.
