i guess yes, my hair growns kind of funny almost in 3 ways i would say, the left side grows to the left, the right side grows to the right and the middle growns down/forward. now when i comb my hair straight back this pattern seem to extend almost to the crown. i have not lost a lot of hair but im only 32.

i also noticed hairs on my hands seem to be growing or they are just standing up more.

anyone have any info on members or guys that have had there hairlines lowered/restored that had cowlicks in it?

They seem to be mostly thick hairs, short and long ones. I also do a test where i get a super fine comb and comb my hair forward for exactly 1 minture over the sink and count the hairs, that count is usually 8 to 12 hairs before i started and it is the same now. I have been doing this test for a few months maybe once a week, i read that a normal person who is not losing hair has about 10 hairs in 1 min..

just washed my hair and put most of the hairs that fell out in my hands on the side wall of the shower and counted 34 of them not to account for the ones that fell to the ground. this seem like a lot of hairs to lose, this friday i will be at the 3 week mark. i only wash my hair 2 times a week but still wet it most nights when i shower but not every night.

iv been using nizoral for years so its not that. how many hairs is considered alot to shed?

I take a generic Finasteride, it's blue with a 37 on it and its 5mg, I split it into 1/4 and then take a nibble out of that 4th everyday so I am trying a little, about .7mg a day. Well I am 2 weeks in and shedding a lot; thin, thick, short and long hairs. Normally when i wash my hair i have 1 or 2 hairs in my hand and maybe lose about 10 hairs that i notice and now it seems double that, and i notice hairs falling out thou out the day. I only suffer from a receding hairline and I am 32 years old and have never tried anything for hair loss except Nizoral twice a week. I have been slowly losing the hair around my temples for 5 years and within this past year I have started to notice the middle part of my hairline thinning. Most people I talk to about this say my hair does not look thinning. But I notice it. I would not expect this to happen with such a small dose and only 2 weeks in, I am starting to worry.

anyone else have any thoughts about this?

Head exercises to stimulate blood flow has anyone heard or this? There was/maybe still is a website that a older gentlemen had, that had exercises you can do where you wiggle your ears and forehead to stimulate blood flow. he was in great shape and did other exercise too, to reduce wrinkle on the face and other odd things, i cant find it off hand, i know it sounds like a scam or pure b/s but it was kinda interesting...

got a script of generic fin. there are 5mg pills,they are blue,round,have a H on one side and a 37 on the other. It states to take 5mg over the course of a week, well i can break them into 4 pieces but thats only 4 days out of 7 so 1.25 every other, so should i try to break them into 7 pieces at .7mg and how would i go about that? would every other day be fine? I would prefer to take a small amount everyday as it would be easier to remember and not miss a dose.

i could only get 10 total days off in a row if i got the transplant done on a thursday and had the following week off, thats really my only option. i was told from the photos i sent i roughly need a total of 1000 to 1200 grafts to restore my hairline.

sam also what is the density number of your transplanted hair? how many days from work did you take off?
