  1. Thanks for the reassurance Spex. Hopefully these next few months I will start to see those new hairs popping in!
  2. I just added a few scar pictures on my blog. The numbness is all but gone above my scar which I am excited about. However, it seems there has been a bit of stretching, hopefully my hair grows back and it makes the scar appear smaller. I am able to buzz my hair down to a 5 clip, but anything less and you can see the scar. There is a scab or two along the scar line as you can see in the picture, but there has been less of them as the days go by. Let me know what you think...thanks for looking
  3. Just updated my blog with month 4 pictures. There has been an improvement from month 2 to month 4. Its hard to tell if the growth is my shocked hair coming back, new hair beginning to grow or a combination of both. My pre-op pictures do not help because my hair was much longer before the surgery, I wish I had just shaved my head before the HT so it would be easier to tell. Let me know what you guys think, I am leaning towards not much new growth yet and more shocked hair returning... Hopefully the next month will be better Thanks!
  4. yea I am not concerned about the grafts falling out or growing. At 3 months post op they are there for good. I was just wondering if that slight pain/discomfort is normal and if it will go away over time
  5. Janis your hair looks really really good. You cannot tell that you had any work done, it looks completely natural. Great job Dr Feller.
  6. Hey guys quick question. I am around 3 and a half months post op and I want to know if this is normal. Whenever I go running, about 20 minutes into my run, my recipient area becomes somewhat tender and hurts a bit. Its not painful but more of an annoying feeling. Once I stop running this feeling goes away in about 20 minutes. when I am not running my recipient area feels fine, and I would say the numbness is about 80 percent back. Thanks for your time

  8. Amazing. Your hair looks awesome and your weight loss is the icing on the cake. Great job!
  9. Well technically you are not at 3 months post op. That would be on June 20th. But besides that point, being at 3 months is way too early to judge if a HT was successful or not. I had my HT with Dr Feller on March 9th, and I have yet to see anything really, but I am not worried. Some people grow quicker than others. If you or I are at 5 or 6 months and we see nothing, then I would be concerned. But I am confident that in the upcoming months you and I will start to see some good growth....be patient
  10. You can definitely notice a difference from week 10. Things are really starting to come along for you. Looking forward to your future updates.
  11. Hey guys I have just hit the 2 month mark. I still have some numbness above my scar and on my recipient area. The redness has improved over the past month and the tightness on the back of my head is all but gone. There seems to be some shock loss in the recipient area but it doesn't seem that bad. I could be seeing things but there might be a few hairs starting to grow already. Most likely I am seeing things but is that possible at 2 months? I took some close ups of the area...let me know if you see anything in the pictures on my blog. Thanks!
  12. Great results and you are only at 5 months! I love the hairline
  13. Why does the numbness always occur above the scar? Is there ever a case when there is numbness below the scar??
  14. Acrobaz- Keep hanging in there, I am sure you are so close to seeing some growth. You seem to be progressing right along schedule. I bet your next update will show some real progress!
  15. Quick question for everyone. I am looking into getting something to help hide my scar and it seems that a few people suggest courve. Would someone recommend the color that I should get? Can someone look at my pictures and suggest a color? I was thinking light brown. Also, do you guys suggest something else other than courve ? Thanks!
  16. Yes, originally we were going to only go for grafts in the front 1/3 but Dr feller went a little further back into my head to provide some coverage if and when that area starts to go. If that area starts to go he said I had plenty of Donor for another surgery to solve that problem. Hopefully that is a couple years away. The forelock area was going to be left alone but towards the end of the surgery we had some extra grafts and Dr Feller placed some in that area, but not as dense as the rest of the scalp.
  17. I almost do not mind it at this point. It seems to me that it helps create the illusion of more hair if you are not up that close. Or maybe I am just seeing things. Anyways, lets hope the redness goes away in the next couple of months and some hairs start growing...
  18. I just updated my weblog with my 1-month photos. It seems that most of my grafts have fallen out(E-man you were right!) but it is tough to tell which is my natural hair or transplanted grafts that are holding on. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks everyone.
  19. yeah I have a similar question. I will be 3 months post op and heading to Puerto Rico for vacation. Should I still be wearing a hat on the beach or will just applying sun screen be enough? Also, is it ok to go into the ocean at this point?
  20. New member here but I would like to show my support as well. Good luck Bill!!! i am going with 2733
  21. Looks great djjr1. i hope my hair looks as good as yours does at 4 months. you have a ton of growth to come! another great job by dr feller
  22. Djjr1, Bill, Mgem, Raphael84- Thank you for the encouraging words, I appreciate it! Eman- yeah I have been enjoying the buzzed look but as you said the grafts have started to fall out these past few days. Today is my 3 week mark and I am sure they will be all gone in the next week or so. I plan to put up some pics at the 1 month mark. dakota3- thanks for the hair comments...but don't hate on the Yankees. You sound like a red sox fan...am i right? Acrobaz- I am a few weeks behind you and I hope my hair can return to pre-op status as well as yours did.
  23. I thought I looked better with my "new face" rather than just a big white spot...
  24. Acrobaz, Things are looking good. You look to have healed well and I am sure no one can even notice you had anything done. Your hair looks just like it was before you had the surgery. With a great surgeon like Dr Feller you have only good things to come.
  25. Thanks guys for all the good comments. Quick quest for you HT veterans. My scalp and hair is a bit dry. Is it ok to use a head and shoulders conditioner on my hair to help this? Or is there something else you guys recommend? I am now 16 days post op
