  1. Listen Tommy, im on here for one reason and that is to 'try' to help anyone in the same boat as me who is thinking about FUE! if you look at my profile i'm not a first time poster, granted im new to all this since my recent op but i take great offence to be labelled as a 'non-genuine' customer! so screw you mate i'm a regular person from the north of England who's saved up for an OP, researched it as much as i can and have asked for advice on this site also and have received help from 'helpful people' unlike yourself who has obviously got a bee in his bonnet!

Oh and trust me if id have had a poor OP (or if i experience any poor results more importantly!) i would have posted my findings on here letting people know about that too....by the way you just mentioned 'Lorenzo' in Manchester, who is exactly who i went with after considering Basinga, koray erdogan & feriduni. ...don't be so judgmental, kissing Dr. Feller's butt with your *Incredibly positive experience!*...is that not promoting a clinic you had a positive experience with!?!? Hippocrit, people in glass houses...........

  2. HI mate, ive recently had an FUE with Dr. Jose Lorenzo now in Manchester UK and i cannot recommend him enough. OK he's not in London but does that really matter as long as you get the best! youll find tons about Jose Lorenzo as being one of the best FUE guys out there....in the world even! works manually and works with you very personally doing the extractions and implantation himself and makes you feel instantly at ease! check him out at the farjo clinic. Your hair seems very think much like mine is at the back and sides and Dr. Lorenzo will asses that and tell you how good your donor hair is and your expectations from FUE. Myself and 2 other guys on here have all had FUE with him this last 2 weeks and we have all come to the same conclusion...that we're glad we didnt go with anyone else! hope this helps but like everyone else says so your research and as ive found out you have to feel comfortable with the person doing it!

  3. @romanino and @northernslaphead ....just relax now! I am on day 11 post op and it just doesn't feel like I had surgery just 11 days ago (with my strip HTs, you could very much feel affects during this period).

Itching is more or less gone now and 99% of scabs.

Started taking MSM and biotin supplements today to just speed up general growth

    @sunnyd

glad to hear your experience with Dr Lorenzo has been all positive and youre over the worst of the post-op now! have you started on the MSM yet, anythign to report on that? guess its too soon to say otherwise hey? i emailed Lorenzo about my itching has its been stopping me sleeping and he got straight back to me! very good at getting back asap. i asked him about aloe vera at this stage but he said it wont benefit, cant do any harm in the donor only but best to ride the storm and just spray it with the saline!

  4. thanks guys for your support, i was really worried about the buzz cut look but it looks ok as of now...i guess in 20-30 days time i may be eating my words when the new hairs are shedding and im looking balder....but thats what a baseball cap if for right!:-) ive cancelled a lot of social meets etc for next couple of months or so until my normal hair is growing back in!

Yeh the itching is driving me mad right now but guess ill just have to keep spraying and bear with it! i heard MSM can also numb the nerve endings a little too? any of you guys used it, heard about it?

@romanino ive asked for the stats so ill post em as soon as!:)

  5. Romanino, excellent news well i wish you all the best in your recovery and hope you felt good in the hands of Dr. Lorenzo! Post some piccies when-ever you can so we can all see too and its a great reminder for yourself later down the line when you look back too.

Yes the swelling has reduced tons today thanks, i massaged it away and drank loads of water and today its just hanging around slightly in my cheekbones...AKA chipmunk face!....im getting the feeling this itching though is going to be driving me mad in no time!!!

  6. thanks for taking the time to reply Lorenzo! yes it did panic me for sure that morning when i woke but like you say it did go down of its own accord and i think the massaging of the area and drinking water has really helped too. You're right i could see the fluid moving around once id massaged it away from my eye/nose area and its now come to rest around my cheeks....aka chipmunk face!!!:) you can see the recovery here in the photos...

  7. Hi Guys, so ive written a couple of blogs in much more detail but unless you have time to actually sit down and read them im posting on here and updating here..this is the quicker journey!

Basically had 2700 FUE with Dr. Lorenzo at the Farjo clinic on Tuesday/wednesday this week. A fantastic man, surgeon and staff as well as a relaxing place to be...well as relaxing at it can be when you're about to be used a pin-cushion!!!

I'm now at day 3 post surgery and all seems to be healing well, im really happy with the resulting hairline and the donor site shows virtually no signs of the OP. The redness is calming down on the recipient site and i've had some adverse post-op swelling around the eyes and nose (see other blog on this for more detail) and am experiencing some slight itching now but hoping the saline spray keeps this at bay!

These photos will give you more of an idea of the journey so far and im sure at some point Mick from Farjo will upload the proper high-res photos of the surgery as these are just my low-res selfies...

  8. Hi guys im 3 days post op (2700 FUE with Dr. Jose Lorenzo) and wanted to share with you the swelling that occured after surgery.

Dr Lorenzo talked with me about it post-op and said that i may swell around the forehead/eyes/nose area due to the anesthesia injected into the forehead....he was right too as on day 2 post-op i woke to looking like id gone a few rounds with mike tyson! My right eye was almost closed, swollen around the eye lid and nose etc. i tried not to panic and read my post-op care notes as well as remembered what lorenzo told me and that was to massage it out to break it down then drink plenty of water so your kidneys can flush it all out.

True to his word and recommendation i woke today (3 days post op) with the swelling moved away from my eye, dramatically reduced and now just slightly in my cheekbone area. Phew im not going be permanently disfigured!!! I Hope this helps anyone who has an adverse reaction to the anesthesia like me and hasnt been informed that this may occur, luckily for me i had a surgeon who dots the 'i's' and crosses the 't's'!!!!

  9. Yes the itching! Mine has slightly started day 3 post op and ive been doing the same with spraying the saline from the fridge!

I was more concerned yesterday with much swelling of my eyes and nose but as Dr. Lorenzo had told me day 1 post op i may get this due to the anesthesia in the forehead and will need to massage it and drink plenty of water to get the kidneys to break it down and out of the body! I looked like id done a few rounds with tyson yesterday but after much massaging and fluids today its moved into my cheekbones and has reduced tons!:)

  12. sunnyd i too have just had FUE with Dr. Lorenzo just this week. am now 2 days post op and feeling very much like yourself about Dr. Lorenzo and Mick at Farjo! Mick makes you feel instantly at ease and conversation flows and Dr. Lorenzo, well what can i say hes a genius and a good man too! he even operated on a benign cyst i had on the back of my head to make me feel better for the future with no mention of any extra cost. The whole team there at farjo are second to none and i would like to thank them all for their welcoming nature and professionalism....especially Dr. Lorenzo!!! all the very best with your growth, i know we all have to go through that ugly duckling phase but knowing we have chosen one of the best FUE surgeons in the world certainly makes me feel easier about the whole procedure!!!
