  1. Dear Dr Mwamba, The only benefits I can think of at the moment from using a larger punch over a needle are as follows. A self supporting cylindrical shaft that similer to one created with a small punch, would force the skin to bridge the gap created. In bridging the gap the body is creating tissue to fill the hole. This creation of new tissue contains all the nessecary cells and growth factors in their correct states to form new follicules, what we need to do is push them in the right direction. This is hopefully where Nigams new solution comes in. I spoke to a chap who sold an Acell competitor ECM. He stated that ECM has never once created new hair follicules in the skin when. It helps with healing but it does not generate new follicules.
  2. Hi Dr Mwamba, thanks for getting back to me. Terms for new follicles aside I think I need to word my questions better . My question is about creating new follicles from holes punched in the bald scalp and then filled with stem cells. This means 0 hairs are taken from the donor area, instead a fue punch is used to create a hole just like you were extracting a hair. This hole would then be filled with the stem cell cocktail. So basically the protocall would be. 1. Punch 0.8mm hole in the bald scalp. (removing tissue not follicle.) 2. Fill with the same cocktail of stem cells used in Nigams Denvo protocall. 3. Observe for Neogensis. Do you think this is something Dr Nigam has already tried? If not do you think it may be worth a shot. To me it is a mixture of Follica's wounding theory and Nigams stem cell aproach. Bruno
  3. Dr Mwamba, You mentioned in your talk on TBT that the denovo protocall involved injecting a cocktail of stemcells in the fue hole to guaranteed there is a enough stem cell material for regeneration. Do you have any plans to trial this same cocktail of stemcells into an empty fue punch hole to see if follicle neogenesis occurs? Cheers Bruno
