  1. Yes mate. It's going to be fun after a month or so. I can already feel the hairline which was defined during the procedure. Actually lots of hair came out around hairline. Hard to visualize in the pic as they're short right now. It will be more meaningful in next 4 weeks. I am also seeing progess around the mid scalp however nothing much on the crown.
  2. Growth - I've noticed lots of new hair around the hair line & mid scalp area. Not sure if these pics will be able to show them as new hair are small & thin right now. Pimples: I still get 2 to 3 pimples at one point of time. I just ignore them for now as there's no major concern. Redness - is almost gone. Scar - healing well. It looks like a thin pink line now. It used to be dark red, then faded red ... now it's just a light pink color.
  3. Thanks guys. Dr Ron gave me a big compliment the way I covered my scalp. He said this is extremely smart and you will never need any concealers after procedure. Nurse at Dr Konior office said the same thing. I was like that's all I've leart, 'how to hide baldness'
  4. Like I said earlier, I was very concerned about going back to work after procedure. Work environment is very formal & professional so wearing hat to work wasn't a possibility. I decided to grow my side hair in order to conceal the scalp especially the recipient area & the scar. I didn't want to trim hair very short as that isn't my style & I do not find myself comfortable doing it. Also I didn't want to use concealers (products like Nanogen & Dermmatch) - just a personal choice. I was able to reach pre OP stage within 5 weeks after procedure and nobody was able to identity that I went through surgery. In last few years each day it's just about hiding baldness; no hairstyle at all. Hope it will be better in next few months & I could style my hair. Please refer to attached pics. It's been 2 months and 1 week post OP. Things are right on track & I am noticing sign of early growth. .
  5. Propecia could be doing the magic in the background. I wont be surprised. I am confused right now. I had some native hair left (not a lot), some transplanted grafts lingering on the recipient area as they didn't shed and of course the Propecia:confused: One thing is for sure that I am seeing lots of new hair coming out; reason could be anything. So let's see, we haven't even entered the growth period. This is all good stuff
  6. I've noticed some early growth which is a good sign however I still have long way to go. It's just been 2 months & 5 days post OP.. I think I'll have to wait for at least 1 more month to see some growth.
  7. Nice. Are you applying minoxidil/Rogaine daily on the recipient area? Which shampoo are you using? Did you use any oil for the dryness?
  8. Yes please see if you can post some pre OP so that comparison could be done. It looks very good for just over 4 months. I am just 2 months & 5 days post OP.
  9. Looks good man. How long it has been so far? 4 and half months?
  10. Looks good. Pls can you post some pics with your head down, showing top of the head. .. and also from the sides.?
  11. Hey SADbutTRUE, I use Burt Bees baby shampoo 6 days a week and Nizoral 1 percent once a week. Scar is just a faded red line now and it has been healing pretty well. I've a mild numbness at times in the donor area which is also getting better. HAPPY HOLIDAYS
  12. Exactly the same thing I noticed mate. Around 300 to 400 hair around hairline and mid scalp. I think early growth is a good sign however we still have long way to go. I hope it will get better for both of us from here on. You're right post OP care is very critical and might be the reason for early growth. Good news is that I've started applying Rogaine again. I use it just once a day as suggested by Dr Ron and Janna. I had to stop using it due to pimples. I am taking 1.25 mg of Propecia a day. I use Nizoral 1 percent once a week. I started taking GNC ultra nourish hair vitamin for men approximately 20 days back. These vitamins are doing unbelievable job as my hair look much healthier and shiny which was never the case in last few years. Earlier I was taking multi vitamins and biotin supplements but recently I switched to these vitamins. I am really glad I made this decision as this is really working. I am curious to know if anyone else on the forum has been trying this product from GNC. So far I just have good things to say about it.
  13. Today I noticed lots of new hair popping up especially around hairline area. It's just been 2 months so not sure why hair are coming out already lol. i thought growth period starts only after 3 months post-op. Today after taking bath I could see lots of new hair showing up on the recipient area.
  14. Good to hear man. Are you taking any medicine for the pimples or just warm/hot compresses? I am still getting pimples here n there and it helps when I do warm/hot compress. Nothing to worry though. In a way it's a good sign if there are small pimples here & there cos that indicate the growth phase is about to start it’s been almost 2 months. Time just flies.
  15. Well2010 grafts will give you satisfaction however I think you will have to go for it one more time to get dense hairline and mid scalp. I hope you will get your crown back with the medication. I am also hoping for the same in my case. I hope Propecia will show some improvement in the crown area.
  16. Yes even recipient area. Your pre OP pic is not clear so I could not compare properly. Overall it looks good. How do you feel regarding the progress so far?
  17. Looks like a good progress. Yes you can defo have a haircut.
  18. Thanks Zup. Well I tried my best to put this whole hair transplant thing on back burner for 4 months .. easier said than done though. It's been a little stressful dealing with post OP issues. I hope things will go smooth from here on.
  19. You're right mate. It has been stressful. I went through all the complications - swelling, skin flaking, folliculitis, grafts not shedding etc. I hope next 4 to 6 weeks will be easier. I think we gotta wait for another 6 weeks or so to see some growth.
